Summer has been flying by! It’s been a busy one for sure. Here are some updates:

Annie passed her 4th junior hunt test yesterday! She has shown excellent marking ability, focus, and drive and makes even new elements look easy. Woody is just 1 pass away from his own JH.

Both Annie and Woody passed their CGC tests! 💙💛

Woody received his BCAT at the White River Golden Retriever Club Fast CAT. Although Fast CAT isn’t something we spend a ton of time doing, the dogs always have a blast.

Annie received her second SHR pass and Woody his second and third at the Ohio River HRC test in June. The judges were awesome at this event! One judge was so sweet and gave me a pink duck call after seeing my pink whistle. Hunt tests have taught me that dogs, especially young dogs, aren’t always predictable. Sometimes they do something at a test that they’ve never done in training. There’s always something new to learn and work on! I’m so proud of both of these dogs for what they’ve accomplished, especially with our limited amount of training time 🧡
