Guess who came strolling through the garage this evening like a champ?! Sweet Ozzy is finally home!! He’s got plenty of stories to tell us but first, he’s catching up on some much needed rest.

‼️ UPDATE ON OZZY 9:00 AM 04/14/2025 ‼️

We’re still searching and holding onto hope!

Last night around 9 PM, a drone operator came out and was able to spot a small four legged animal walking in the field. We’re hopeful that it was Ozzy.

We received permission to search the field this morning but unfortunately did not find him. However, the food we left out at the last known sighting was completely eaten by this morning so we’re praying that was Ozzy who came back.

A neighbor also reported seeing him yesterday on a street in Grand Pointe near the house, which gives us more reason to believe he’s still close by.

The drone operator has offered to return today or this evening to continue the search. We’re also putting up more flyers throughout the neighborhood today.

We’re not giving up. Please continue to keep your eyes open and call 337-315-6692 or 337-654-9952 immediately if you see him. Do not chase, just call.

‼️OZZY UPDATE 8:00 AM 04/13/25 ‼️

We don’t have much of an update but we are NOT giving up. We have every reason to believe he is still within the area we saw him yesterday. Attached is a map of where he was last seen which is also the same area he got away from us on Friday. Unfortunately, the field/farm nearby is private property and we havent been able to search it by foot.

We have another drone coming out this afternoon to do a sweep of the area.

Remember, he is VERY skittish and afraid of most people besides his dad owner. If you see him, do not chase him or move quickly. This will scare him. Call us immediately if you see him. Please tag anyone you know that lives in this area!

Please continue praying, sending good vibes, etc. that we get this little boy home safe and that he can sleep in his own bed tonight.

‼️OZZY UPDATE 7:40 PM APRIL 12, 2025 ‼️

Our last confirmed sighting of Ozzy was this morning around 9:30 AM (04/12/25). Since he stayed in the area overnight, we’re hopeful he’s still nearby.

We’ll be heading back out this evening to search again. Ozzy is very skittish and tends to come out more when it’s quiet, so nighttime may be when he feels safest.

Please continue to keep an eye out and contact us immediately if you spot him. Do not chase him. Thank you all for your continued support. We’re staying hopeful!

‼️ We had a sighting of Ozzy! 9:30 AM 04/12/25‼️

A neighbor walking her dog saw him come right back through the fence he got out from yesterday. She recognized him from our posts and calmly walked her dog in the direction of Ozzys home. Ozzy followed alongside them for a bit, but when a nearby dog barked, he got spooked and ran back through the fence. She said he looked healthy and happy, which is such a relief. We are so happy he is staying within the area. We’re putting out food and water by the fence to try and lure him back out again.

We’re feeling hopeful and so grateful for this progress!

STILL NO LEADS OR SIGHTINGS AS OF 7 AM APRIL 12TH‼️

Todays a new day. We hope and pray that Ozzy found somewhere cozy to sleep and rest after his day of adventure.

I and a few others will be driving around the area again to see if we can spot him anywhere. We will be printing more flyers to put up. Please continue to share and keep your eyes peeled. We appreciate it all.
