***Update...he jas been located!***

This dog has been missing since last night from the area of Skinner Creek Rd, west of Phillips, County Road W, and Burgers Bar & Grill, in the City of Phillips. Please report any sightings. Dog is wearing an orange collar with the owner information and a black and orange harness. It's a black and white GSP. Please report any sightings so we can get the owner to the dog. Thank you! Phillips Police Department .

Every lost dog recovery takes more than just a trap. Behind the scenes, there are a lot of little expenses that add up — and every donation helps us continue getting lost dogs safely home. 🐾

⛽ Gas to travel to trapping locations and check equipment

A couple weeks ago we were contacted about a black lab running 178 on Chippewa. We connected with some kind property owners, put up a camera and sure enough, she showed up. So the next day we set the trap. She didn't want anything to do with it. So, we had to regroup and figure out a way to get her to go in. For about a week or so, we fed her with the trap door open to get her used to it.

Last night we set the trap again. And about 2 hours later, she was in and she wanted out! We were able to safely get her transported and she hung out with us for the night.

We believe she has been on the run for a while. We also believe this is a pup we've trapped before. She is now safe and at Chippewa Humane.

Thank you to the kind property owners who let us set the trap and come and go as we needed. We couldn't have done it without their help!

We hope she finds her owners, or begins a new life with the right people. Be safe, sweet girl. 🐾

We were contacted yesterday afternoon to help find Shep. This morning, with the help of Halo Aerial Recovery, we were able to safely bring Shep home!

Thank you to the family for doing all they did to bring Shep home and reaching out to us as soon as they did.

UPDATE: HE IS HOME SAFE! With the help of Halo Aerial Recovery we were able to help recover Shep this morning!

💚 A HAPPY ENDING FROM ROCKIN’ PAWS 💚

We finally have caught Willow, the pup who has been around the Augusta and Fall Creek area for the last couple of weeks. We have spent hours trying to find her, trying to gain her trust, reaching out to land owners, setting traps, and planning how to bring her into safety.

A couple of days ago she went back to the area where she was originally seen. After talking with the landowner, one of our volunteers put out a camera and some food. She was on the camera multiple times within 24 hours. So last night we brought a trap down. Today we set the trap and within the hour, she was in! Hallelujah! She is now safe at Eau Claire Humane Society.

We would like to put a special thank you out to our volunteer Kylee Prestin, who communicated with so many land owners, and helped trap her today. Also a thank you to another Kylee who lives in the area, Carol and her husband who allowed us to use their property for the trap, MaryEllen who communicated with a land owner for us, Eau Claire Humane Society for taking her, and every other individual who reached out to us to report a sighting, gave her food or just cared enough to stop and try to get her to safety. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. We couldn't do what we do without YOU!!

**DOG WAS REUNITED WITH OWNERS**

This male yellow lab was found this morning and brought into Taylor County - Wisc., Humane Society Inc. He was found on County Rd G. He was wearing a camouflage collar; no microchip. Healthy, clean pup who hasn't been on the run long. If you know who he belongs to, please reach out to Taylor County. Please share to help find his owners!

UPDATE 09/18/26: We had her on camera last night eating at our feeding station. Tonight we will set the live trap, and hope we get her. If you see her, please report the sighting but don't chase or acknowledge her. She is too skittish to go to someone. The best way to get her will be to trap her. Thank you!

UPDATE 09/16/26: We didn't see her at all yesterday. We are going to set a trap tonight. She seems to be moving at night and staying in the same area. Thank you for continuing to share sightings!

UPDATE 09/15/26: This morning we got a report she was on O near HH. We headed down with the trap, but have not seen her. If you see her, please update us asap.

UPDATE 09/14/26 8PM: We spent a couple hours tracking her tonight and hoping to get a trap set for her. She is covering a lot of ground. We were able to get a trap set and she was very interested but then two cars approached. We think we can get her with the live trap if she settles a bit. We had to call it for tonight. Please continue to share sightings and we will do our best to get her.

UPDATE 09/14/26: We spent 4 hours trying to get her today. She is very skittish and we couldn't get her on the lead. We are taking a trap out tonight, and we have been told she's moving on R. Please let us know if you see her. Thank you for all the updates so far! See less
