Meet Stanley. 🐾❤️

Early this morning, Rockin’ Paws Ranch was able to safely catch this sweet pup after someone reached out asking for help. We’re calling him Stanley for now, and we’re so thankful he’s no longer out there on his own.

A huge thank you to the individual who noticed Stanley and contacted us, and to Chippewa Humanefor taking him in and giving him a safe place to land. It truly takes a village. ❤️

Every call like Stanley’s means miles driven, fuel used, and trapping equipment and supplies put to work. If you’d like to help us continue responding when lost and stray dogs need us, donations toward gas and trapping supplies are greatly appreciated.

Because when the call comes in, we want to be able to say, “We’re on our way.” 🐾

Please be on the lookout for Sissy. She was last seen by Grover Street. Please reach out with any sightings immediately. Please do not chase, yell or try to grab her. She is very scared and in survival mode.

HAPPY ENDING!!

Last Sunday we were about to head out of state for the week and we were tagged in posts about Elke missing in Ladysmith. I reached out to the owner, Stacy, and asked how we could help. We felt a bit helpless being so far away and not able to help. Stacy and her husband were doing evrrything thing they could to bring her home. Hours of searching, waiting for sightings and hoping she would turn up.

Today Stacy told me they had a sighting. We both headed that way and started searching. Her husband, her and I walked up and down the road looking for her. I got back to my car to start to figure out a plan and he yelled, "I got her!" We went running. I type this with tears in my eyes and so much joy that I could be there when they reunited.

Stacy, you and your family did all the right things to bring her home. Thank you to all those who helped report sightings, shared the post, and tagged us to help. Welcome home, sweet Elke.

After 13 days on the run, Benji, is home safe. Benji spent a couple days in a yard of a very nice lady. She reached out to his owner and put food out. Benji hung around in her yard, playing with her dogs and eating food. Over the next couple of days, we spent hours trying to gain his trust. Last night, we had him eating out of our hands and hanging out right near us, but he was still skittish. We set the trap and headed out, hoping he would go in to eat the cheeseburger we left. Twenty minutes later the owner called and said, he was in the home owner's kitchen and safe. We were elated!

We would like to put out a special thank you to Kylee Prestin for not giving up on helping him, Jason James, his owner, who did all the right things and never gave up, and Heidi, the property owner, who let us come and go as we needed to set traps, hang out to try and catch him, and eventually helped bring him to safety. This whole situation was a prime example of why not chasing a lost dog, and letting them get comfortable is so important. This was true teamwork! We appreciate the sightings reported, the neighbors who reached out and let us walk through their yards, and everyone who was involved to bring Benji home.
