Hey guys!! Just wanted to clear up some confusion going around, I am NOT closing happy paws grooming. There is another shop in Calhoun with the same happy paws in their name but it is a grooming and boarding facility that announced they are closing this month. I don’t have any plans on going anywhere as long as yall still love my little shop here in Lafayette and we still get to love all of our furry friends that come see us here! 🖤🖤🖤❤️❤️❤️

Yall im so sorry about today and having to emergency call and move everyone around. The air has went out and it is too hot to have the babies in here safely for them, I will always keep the best interest of the fur babies in mind up here and as the day goes on the temperature is climbing and I appreciate everyone’s cooperation in moving around the scheduled appointments for today!!!

Despite our hardworking team doing everything we can — from launching spay/neuter programs, hosting adoption events, offering free vaccines, and partnering to waive adoption fees — we’re still drowning.

We’re an open-intake shelter, with animals needing our help every. single. day.. But now, we're at a critical point. If we can’t move animals out quickly, euthanasia for space will become a reality. And no one in animal welfare wants to face that.

We believe every animal deserves:

🩷 A chance to feel safe, loved, and free
But right now, we can’t give them that—not without you.

Hey guys we had a customer open her car today and let a dog get lose with no collar or leash in the parking lot, it took off and I’ve spent the last hour going through the woods trying to catch it. It’s a white/brown/black shih tzu mix looking dog if anyone sees it let us know so we can let her know please
