Our founder is James Cramer. While he was in college at the University of Alabama, he built the first Cat Solarium. He wanted his cat to have access to the outdoors while he was in class. After graduating, James stayed in Tuscaloosa and owned 3 companies. One of which, was a very successful internet based company that shipped items all over the world. It is still in business and is thriving. The m

ost important thing James learned about the internet business is having great customer service. James will do whatever he can to make sure The Cat Solarium is built to fit your window properly. He will gladly answer any questions you may have, will personally walk you through the installation (If needed) and ask your opinions about the units and additions. James’s off time is spent fishing on the Tennessee River on Wilson Lake, sailing and kayaking. He too likes being “outdoors”. All solariums are made in our wood shop using top quality wood.
