Meet Sunny! A sweet female Pomeranian mix, she’s 2 years old and great with other dogs. She comes off shy initially but is a wonderful companion who’s mastered the doggy door and enjoys playing with other dogs. FOSTER, ADOPTER OR RESCUE NEEDED:
Prior therapy dog. She is great with older people, kids and babies. House trained and understands prompts for being a therapy dog. The dog’s name is Yenna. She’ll be 5 in November and is a Collie/Lab mix and has all her shots (w/ records). She’s a healthy little love bug. Spayed. Unfortunately the situation has resulted in Yenna not having the quality of life she deserves… not cared for, not getting attention, sometimes meals are skipped, etc. Family was talking about taking Yenna to the pound for adoption but I begged them not to… I don’t want her to lose her personality… She has been around other dogs when they are on walks which she does great with them when they are near, even though she’s on a leash. She’s a very sweet dog and deserves a loving home.

Almost 12 years ago, we helped Buddy settle into his forever home after being found as a stray and remaining unclaimed. Unfortunately, last month it was time for this awesome dog to have help crossing over the rainbow bridge. 🌈 🐶💙
With that being said, our adopter and volunteer, Nick reached out to adopt another dog. While we cannot replace Buddy, who was truly one of a kind, we helped mend this families hearts by adopting Betty into their loving home today. It was love at fist sight and we could not be any more confident she will have an incredibly fulfilling life. Betty is approx. 18 weeks old, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and 9.5 lbs.

We are so happy to announce that Mickey (our baby from the north central shelter) has been adopted!

AND despite how much his foster mom loved him, he was NOT a foster fail! 🎉

He went to his new family yesterday, and had a wonderful first night.

Here’s a happy update from his new mom:
“He did great last night and he and Vader are having a great time this morning playing and getting to know each other. He is loving running and playing in our yard and even used the potty pad when he went potty in the house. We are extremely happy!!”

Congrats to our sweet little guy!!
