2024 Babies are gonna be getting ready to go.
Will be dewormed, treated for external parasites, vitamins and first CDT vaccines will be given (can send a booster dose home with or if you live close I can come give it when the time is right.
Boys will be banded soon if I get no deposits for bucks..
We Haven't tested for a few years but the herd has been closed and the buck came from a closed herd.
Pictures don't do these guys justice, they are all lovely. Lots of blue eyes this year and the boys are all polled!! I'm keeping a doeling from both of our old ladies 🥰

It's a quiet spring here as we chose not to breed last fall and have no expected babies.
Have been able to spend more time doing activities with the horses as well as just catch up on projects in the house and outside

When selling goats or answering goat questions I get asked what things should be on hand just in case...well I emptied my little tote and medicine shelf and this is what I have, some is goat specific but most are safe for my horses and dogs too

Well looks like the 2022 sales wrapped up today. This spring we sold 2 adult does to a milking home with their papers, 2 wether babies to a pet home, 1 doeling with papers to a breeding home, 2 does with option to pay for papers being submitted in the future to a pets first possibly will get back into breeding home, our yearling doe Spice went with papers and her baby wether brother to a pet and possibly 4-H home. I felt good about every person who came for goats and was excited that they were all excited to get their goats. The yearling wether Riot is still here, but honestly we are ok with that he is a sweet quiet boy 😊
