Hircine absolutely crushed his first training session today! 🐾

Nora and Kenzie are already starting to discover what truly captures his attention and motivates him, and this boy is proving to be incredibly intelligent.

While he wasn’t quite ready for an “all-over cut” yet, he did take his first steps into the world of grooming. We cleaned up his face and feet to help him get comfortable with the process and build positive experiences for future appointments.

For those who know their Skyrim lore, Hircine is the Daedric Prince of the Hunt—and this young prince certainly lives up to the name! Keen, observant, and eager to learn, he’s already showing all the signs of a future champion.

We can’t wait to see his training journey takes him!!

Meet Millie 🐾 Today was this sweet Border Terrier’s very first groom ever, and she did amazing! We went all in with a complete hand strip to preserve her natural coat texture and keep that classic Border Terrier look. Such a good girl for her first spa day 🤏🏼❤️

‼️‼️🐾🐾Choosing a dog trainer is about more than finding someone who can train your dog — it’s about finding someone who can teach you too.

The right trainer should be a good fit for both you and your dog. They should help you understand your dog's body language and cues, improve your timing and communication, and teach you how your delivery affects your dog’s learning.

Training isn’t just about what happens during a session. It’s about gaining the skills, confidence, and tools to apply those lessons to real-life, everyday situations long after your trainer is gone.

The goal isn’t to create a dog that only listens with a trainer standing beside you. The goal is to build a relationship where you and your dog can succeed together.

Today’s session with Willa was a good mix of engagement work and working through real-life puppy moments. While they focused on building engagement, Hannah and Spencer did a great job staying patient and consistent through the typical puppy chaos. Even with added distractions from other dogs, Willa kept making progress and had some really nice moments today. Proud of this team and the work they’re putting in! 🐾
