After a longer-than-expected pause, we’re excited to share that construction is officially back underway 🙌
We’re aiming for a late spring / early summer opening, and we can’t wait to welcome you in.

To say thank you for sticking with us, we’ll be hosting a new giveaway every month until we open, so be sure to follow along for updates and chances to win.

This extra time has allowed us to reflect on what we truly want this space to represent. More than just a bar, this will be a place where people and their dogs can come together, slow down, connect, and enjoy the everyday moments that matter. Our goal is to create an open, welcoming environment that brings our local community together, one visit at a time.

Knoxville, get ready for your new favorite hangout where tails wag, beers flow, and community thrives. 🐶🍺 The Ruff Life Hideout is a brand new dog park + bar opening next spring in Northwest Knoxville — a place built from the heart for both pups and their people.

At the festival, they’ll be sharing a few Ruff Life merch items along with some fall and winter goodies for dogs and humans alike. Stop by their booth to meet Chelsea, hear about their journey, and get a sneak peek at what’s coming!

🐾✨ We have some exciting news to share! ✨🐾

Our family business was recently featured in The Shopper News as we get ready to open our Dog Park Bar right here in the Karns/Powell area in Spring 2026. We’re so grateful for the spotlight and for the support we’ve already felt from our community. 💛

While we originally hoped to be the first dog park bar in the area, another spot opened their doors sooner than expected. But what makes our vision special is the local roots behind it—this is truly a family dream, built by and for the people (and pups!) of this community.

We can’t wait to share more details with you soon and create a place where neighbors can connect, dogs can play, and everyone feels at home. 🐶🍻

The 2 reasons we are building a family owned and operated dog park. A place for Hazel (our Golden) to run freely and a place for our daughter to see her parents live out their dream so that one day.. she can, too!

Hazel’s 1st bestie was Autumn 🌈 After she passed, Hazel begged Madison to be hers… One week without Mom & Dad = inseparable 🐾💛It was a beautiful surprise to come home to.
