“The last farrier hit my horse”

That’s something I hear regularly on calls. We may ask the young horses to back to redirect their attention but for many of these horses, PATIENCE and a few treats can go a LONG way.

A few weeks ago, we paid this c**t a visit for a barefoot trim. He was unwilling to stand and landed a kick or two. His owners sent him to our farm for a month long training. We’re two weeks in and got our first safe trim in the books!
