House call visits for nail care can be particularly beneficial to the well-being of senior and geriatric pets. For some dogs and cats, taking them by car somewhere has been a struggle and a stressful event their whole lives. And this can become even more challenging when they are older, as vision and hearing start to decline, and they might be more prone to become confused or anxious when out of the comfort zone of their home.

Abel is soon-to-be 14 and at this visit, he would doze off periodically for a few minutes at a time. And because we were in his home, I had the freedom to allow him that time, and just continue with my work on his nails when he woke up. 🥰
