Our beloved driver, Michelle, had some hidden floral design skills and has become our new lead designer! We couldnāt be happier!
But now we are in a predicament š¤·āāļøš«¶
Yarrow & Tulsi is hiring!
Permanentent driver position and Holiday / Fill-In positions.
This is a great opportunity to work during school hours.
Typical hours are 10:30-3:00, Tuesday- Friday with an occasional earlier start or Saturday. Floral Holidays will require heavier work loads and possibly longer hours.
**We may also need a Summer & Saturday driver **
Our drivers deliver flowers to homes, businesses, funeral and medical facilities in town and to surrounding locations.
Job requirements include but are not limited to-
Friendly, kind, professional demeanor.
Clear handwriting and communication skills A clean driving record and your own insurance coverage.
Confidently use your own cellphone for google or Apple maps during delivery, to optimize delivery routes, and occasional communication.
Clearly and confidently communicate via phone or in person with customers and flower recipients.
Careful driving practices that ensure the flowers and gifts arrive in the same condition they left the shop in.
Lift up to 30lbs occasionally.
Multitask
Prioritize task
Problem solve
Switch from task to task with minimal confusion or frustration.
Answering phones and helping customers.
Lots of cleaning such as scrubbing buckets, sweeping, emptying trash, cleaning the cooler, and more.
Processing flowers when shipments arrive (yes we will train you!)
Must maintain cleanliness inside and outside of delivery vehicle.
Must fill gas when needed and be aware of and communicate any potential troubles with delivery vehicle such as low tires or AC not working, for example.
Have an attitude attuned toward teamwork and group success.
Pay starts at $15 and will include raises as job proficiency is demonstrated.
