The crystal ball has spoken and it says you're going to Sanford this Sunday. 🔮✨

We are teaming up with Pet Supplies Plus and local medium Jamie Day for an adoption event unlike anything you have ever been to. Because where else can you meet your future rescue dog AND connect with your past, present, or future pet on a spiritual level all before lunch?

Today is Sponsored Saturday. And somebody already paid for Luka.

A stranger read about Sir Snarl-a-Lot, his sock theft, his parade appearances, his very strong opinions about who gets to be in his life — and said yes. That dog. I've got him. Fee covered. Done.

Luka is a Wirehaired Terrier mix with a small body and an absolutely massive sense of self. He is not a everybody's-best-friend dog. He is a YOUR-best-friend dog. The kind who learns your routine, steals your socks, figures out which treat makes your pocket crinkle and loses his entire mind about it. The stinkier the better. This is not negotiable for Luka.

He went from being carried in a sling to strutting through the Festival of Lights parade. He has a solid friendship with his housemate Iggy. He is growing, stretching, showing up every single day for the humans who showed up for him first.

He needs someone experienced. Someone who reads a dog well. Someone who thinks a dog with opinions is a feature not a flaw.

House-trained. Vaccinated. Fully sponsored. Completely worth it.

Some dogs are cute. Galaxy is out of this world.

And we mean that literally because her name is Galaxy and she has been living up to it every single day.

Four years old. Forty pounds. A brindle coat that looks like the universe hand painted it. Amber eyes that have seen things. Good things. Couch things. Cuddle things.

Galaxy loves to cuddle. Not a little. A lot. This is a dog who will locate you in any room, any position, any circumstance, and make herself the center of your solar system. Which, again, feels on brand.

She is good with other dogs. She is equally happy as your one and only. She gets along beautifully with cats. She is basically compatible with every living creature in your home.

She is the kind of dog that makes everything around her feel a little more right.

You could have the whole universe in your living room.

Meet Willoughby. 🐾

One year old. Golden Retriever mix. Built like a hug with legs.

He came to us because his person passed away.

Let that sink in for a second.

This sweet, soulful, wiggly boy did everything right.

And still ended up back with us.

But here is the thing about Willoughby.

He is not broken.
He is sad.
But he is ready.

Ready for someone to throw the ball.
Ready for someone to share the couch.
Ready to be somebody's whole entire world again.

He is good with kids.
Good with dogs.
Good with cats.

Basically good with everyone except people who don't pet him and we respect that boundary completely.

He needs training, adventure and a committed home that is in it for the long haul.

In return he will give you everything he has.

And if you have ever loved a Golden you already know exactly what that means.

That is a Rhodesian Ridgeback doing what Rhodesian Ridgebacks do.

With all of these one sunny days (besides today, of course), we are finally approaching barbeque season! And what is a cookout without some of the best hot dogs! 🌭 🐕

Congratulations to this week’s adopted dogs: Benson, Betty, Chex Mix and Neutron Star! With their new family they will finally get a taste of some delicious hotdogs, burgers, and grilled veggies while playing kids and dogs alike and receiving much deserved pets, scratches and attention!
