Last week was Take Millie to Work Day and let us just tell you.

It was a complete and total success.

Because here is the thing about Millie.

She does not care if you work in an office.
She does not care if you work on a lobster boat.
She does not care if you show up to a job site at 6am in a pickup truck.

She will show up WITH you.
She will meet every single person there.
She will immediately become everyone's favorite coworker.

Snow plowing at midnight? Millie's in.
Lobstering at dawn? Millie's in.
Standing around a job site pretending to be busy? Millie is ABSOLUTELY in and will cover for you.

She is two years old, chocolate and white with caramel eyebrows she did not ask for and the most easygoing personality we have ever encountered in our lives.

Cool with absolutely everyone she has ever met.

Because Millie loves people.

All of them. Every single one.

She is not looking for a perfect home.

She is looking for a person.

Maybe that person is you.

This week’s catch of the day proved to be bountiful! 🎣

This week, 10 of our Grateful Dogs got to go home to their people! Congratulations to Feta, Freckle, Galaxy, Kaitlyn, Keebler, Maya, Ranger, Rocky, Seamus, and Twix and the families that have dedicated themselves to provide loving homes for these dogs. When summer in full swing, let’s hope they get to play in the world, sunbathe in their favorite spot, and eat as much watermelon as possible!

IT'S FOSTER FRIDAY AND WE HAVE BREAKING NEWS.

A new group is landing on June 27th and they brought their personalities with them, because apparently nobody told them to dial it down for the camera.

One of them is already giving "I will be speaking to a manager" energy.

One of them has never met a hairbrush in their life and is not interested in starting now.

One of them has blue eyes that are doing entirely too much for a dog this small.

And then there's a sleepy golden fluffball that is getting the best sleep of her life.

This is not a drill. This is a really, REALLY amazing group.

And Friday is the perfect day to make an extremely AMAZING decision.

No experience needed. No long term commitment. Just a couch, some snacks, and a willingness to fall stupidly in love for a few weeks.

We need to talk about Rocky's manners. Because they are better than most humans we know.

This dog waits for an invite before walking through a gate. Actually waits. Like a small, polite gentleman with excellent boundaries.

Ask him to settle down and he walks himself to his bed and lies down. No drama. No arguing. Just does it.

His foster has a few dogs of her own. And she said if she didn't, Rocky would already be hers.

That is the kind of review you cannot buy.

Rocky has the ears of a satellite dish, a love for getting up on his favorite chair for a good view of the room, and a sweet, easygoing personality that makes him genuinely easy to live with.

He is the whole package. Manners included.

Somebody is about to get the most well behaved dog they have ever owned and they don't even know it yet.

What a better what to manifest the perfect month than with a vision board! 🔮

This week, two grateful dogs got to create visions board to visualize their new life with their new family: Dakota Lynn and Tucker! These tiny pups have been given a second chance and want nothing more than to make the most of it. In end, what they want is simple, to become the perfect new addition to their families and creating beautiful, lifelong memories! We need to talk about these little legs.

Dutchess is built like a loaf of bread on a mission and she is moving FAST and we cannot keep up and honestly we respect it completely.

Short legs. Long body. Heart the size of the entire state of Maine.

This girl came into foster care and immediately located her person, climbed into their lap and began loving them with a intensity that frankly caught everyone off guard.
That is just who she is.

She hikes. She sprints. She walks. She runs. She sticks her entire head out the car window and feels the breeze like it is the greatest moment of her life every single time.

And then she comes home and finds her human and just. Loves. Them.
No conditions. No reservations. All the way in.

Someone out there is about to be loved harder than they have ever been loved in their entire life.

June 13th cannot get here fast enough and it is entirely Millie's fault.

She is 1 years old, 53 pounds of chocolate and white girl with caramel eyebrows she did not order and a squishy face we are completely unprepared for every single time we look at it.

Here is what you need to know about Millie. She was sitting outside in a run last week, waiting for her flight to Maine, next to a dog that was absolutely losing its mind. Full meltdown. Maximum drama. Millie sat there looking like she was waiting for her coffee order at Starbucks to be called. Unbothered does not even begin to cover it.

She loves people more than anything and is an all around good girl with zero interest in drama and maximum interest in your couch.

She arrives Saturday and we genuinely cannot stop thinking about her.

Don't let someone else adopt your dog.
