Giving Tuesday is one of the most important days of the year for Smallest Souls Animal Rescue, because it gives us the chance to rally lifesaving support for the most fragile animals in our community — the newborns, the abandoned, the “undesirable,” and the souls who would never survive without immediate intervention.
We specialize in rescuing neonates: orphaned puppies and kittens who require around-the-clock bottle-feeding, incubator warmth, medication, and intensive care. Many arrive cold, starving, or fighting infections. Others come from heartbreaking situations — found in dumpsters, left outside in boxes, born to mothers who never returned, or surrendered when no one else was willing to try..
This year alone, we’ve saved so many tiny lives — puppies found in warehouses, kittens still wrapped in their placentas, fragile bottle babies who needed immediate warming, and litters abandoned with no mother in sight. Every one of them is alive today because someone cared.
