📢 ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Osceola County Animal Services will be closed to intakes and adoptions on Monday, August 10, out of an abundance of caution.

A litter of puppies brought to Animal Services as part of a law enforcement response has tested positive for canine parvovirus. Our first and primary concern is always the safety and well-being of the animals entrusted to our care, and we are taking this precautionary step to protect them and the animals in our community.

The positive cases are currently isolated to one litter. Animal Services will use the closure to complete additional cleaning and assess the health of the shelter population.

We anticipate reopening Tuesday, August 11, and will update if that date changes.
