Rest In Peace Huxley ❤️

From his family:

I have to mourne the loss and celebrate the life of our goobery, goodest bad boy, Huxley. I don't think anyone ever truly got to see the full him and how much love he had to give besides my wife and I. That unfortunately also came with a scared anxious side that was how most people only ever got to see him. Not going to get into that because that's not how he deserves to be remembered.

Huxley came to us at 6 weeks old and became a foster fail. He fit right into our family as Freyas sidekick play partner. He was such a cuddly goober that just wanted to be close to his people and would not give a second thought to who he plopped down on for cuddles. He loved parkouring through the house, tiring out Freya, and crashing out for a nap. He always wanted at least one of us in his eyesight. Will never forget him as a puppy sneaking to gorge himself on food that wasnt his and finding him flopped on his back to sleep it off. While the bad side meant he couldn't stay with us, I am shattered that we had to lose this guy too.

It still feels so surreal he is not with us and I'm so greatful to have him in our life. He was definitley not always an easy boy, but the love that cuddly ball of energy gave us more than made up for it.

We are heartbroken to say goodbye but will never regret a second of our time with this goofy guy.

Rest In Peace Cody ❤️

From his family:

We were not the original owner/companions of our dear Cody. They had relinquished him to the shelter for the very same reasons that endeared him to us for the unforgettable 14 years that he spent with us. His rambunctious playfulness, together with his always comically charming and whimsical personality. Cody will remain forever in our memories and in our hearts.

Rest In Peace Hoot ❤️

From his family:

Hoot, Hootie Boy, Chief, Brother...all the names of our beloved Hoot. From the minute he was adopted, we loved the curious, quiet, and energetic way that he saw and experienced the world. He spent 14 1/2 wonderful years with us, joining us on every trip and occasion. He especially loved to run free on the beach, his paws splashing through the waves before settling in for a nap on the sandy shoreline. His kindness, his companionship, and his unconditional love will always be felt in our lives and cherished in our memories. We love and miss you so much, Hoot.

Rest In Peace Sully ❤️

From his family:

Sully was the life of the party. He was loud, energetic, and full of personality. He gave the best snuggles and kisses, and was happiest when surrounded by his favorite people. He loved stuffed animals and had more than we could count. He also enjoyed meeting new dog friends and was the very best big brother.

Nine years was far too short. Sully was our baby, and he will be loved and missed forever.

To our Main Man, Sully Man: your mom, dad, and brother miss you terribly. You were brave, loyal, and perfect all the way until the end. Thank you for every laugh, every cuddle, and every memory. Run free, sweet boy. We will carry you in our hearts always.

Rest In Peace Zoe ❤️

From her family:

Of course, every dog owner knows their dog is SPECIAL! So kindly let me share my story.

Zoe actually had two remarkable lives. She was bred as a showgirl, won as a grand champion, and give birth to three litters--one producing a grand champion. We believe this seemingly successful life had its downside. She spent most of her time in training, complete with shock collar, and countless hours restricted to her crate. We liberated her at age five and overpampered her to the max! She was given freedom to run and play. We took her on dozens of vacations. She has eaten in hundreds of restaurants and stayed in some of the finest hotels. We always gave her the best possible food and she even slept with us in our bed. She enjoyed the most possible happy and healthy life.

Of greatest importance is what she gave US. Her unconditional love and kindness has made our lives immensely enriched. Giving of our effort for the care and comfort of another living being has made our lives more valuable and fulfilled.

Rest In Peace Aengus ❤️

From his family:

Aengus God of Summer and Love, my sweet old man, came to me during a difficult time in my mental health journey. When Center for Animal Rescue and Enrichment of St. Louis - CARE STL posted his picture, I saw a senior who was not thriving at the shelter, who had been owner surrendered, and came with a bite record and immediately thought "Don't worry, momma's comming." So on April 20th, 2025 I adopted my old man.

He fit into my pack quickly and seamlessly. My hospice dog loved him, my hairless dog was the only one that could steal from his bowl, my poodle didn’t mine him and my bichon thought he was just a big do**us. He was also gentle with my cats, almost like he'd never met a cat.

The most beautiful time for Aengie-Pie and I was tending to the chickens together. He loved the ladies and would let them hop all over him, as long as I’d give him an egg.

I was only able to love my sweet old man for 375 days before cancer robbed us of more time together.

He had a very quick, peaceful and painless passing, along with a chocolate chip cookie, at home in his very own yard. He had a blanket, his brothers and sister, and me to help him across the bridge.

I feel truly blessed, and heartbroken, that I will remember my babies for the rest of my life.
