A little greenery, a little wildlife, and a whole lot of peace.
I don't think we always realize just how much joy the simple things in nature can bring us.
There's something incredibly peaceful about sitting down for a few minutes and watching a tiny jungle come to life. The textures of the leaves, the different shades of green, the branches, and a beautiful little animal quietly going about its day.
Meet Sunshine the Humongous and Mr. Holly, two of our beautiful adult male crested geckos here at YetiGex.
These boys are part of our breeding family, and I love getting to see them enjoying their own little naturalistic habitats.
For me, keeping geckos has always been about so much more than just having a pet.
It's about bringing a piece of nature into your everyday life.
We all know how much a room can change when you add a few beautiful houseplants. It feels warmer, more inviting, more alive. Now imagine having a miniature jungle filled with lush greenery, winding branches, and a fascinating little creature to observe.
It's a living piece of nature you get to enjoy every day.
I think that's one of the most overlooked things about crested geckos. You don't have to constantly interact with them to appreciate them. Sometimes the greatest enjoyment comes from simply watching, observing, and appreciating their natural behaviors.
And for plant lovers, there's something especially wonderful about combining a love for greenery with a love for animals.
Sunshine and Mr. Holly are also proud fathers to some absolutely beautiful geckos!
Sunshine the Humongous is the father of Clara and Petey, who are both currently available.
Mr. Holly is the father of Snickers, Dorian, and Maxwell.
One of my favorite parts of raising these animals is seeing the next generation develop, knowing the beautiful geckos we care for today will bring that same joy to another household.
