Ruby had her babies yesterday and I forgot to post! She had 5 total but 3 were unfortunately dead. I gave her 2 of GG's smallest to raise with her two living babies.
Today, Pru had hers (see previous post) and Frost just had hers! 5 babies from Frost x Cranberry. Unfortunately two of the babies are peanuts but the other three are perfect and healthy 🥰❤️
Pru welcomes 6 little beans this morning! They are so perfect and she's being an excellent first time momma ❤️🥰 Cranberry's bloodline is gonna run strong through my stock haha can't wait to watch these sweet angels grow up!
Yay! GG finally popped the buns out of the oven! 8 perfect little angels all snuggled in the nest 🥰🥹 there is one runt that is very small so it may get fostered to one of the mini rex does if it seems to struggle with its larger siblings.

GG is due tomorrow so fingers crossed I wake up to babies! This will be potentially my last Soot litter since he sold and is off to his new home. Hoping Baby took with him and will have babies in a couple weeks. Nest boxes are in with Pru, Frost, and Ruby. So happy Pru finally took a pregnancy! This was the third try. They're all due in 4 days!

Morning farm report:
Well you can't win them all. Lace finally had her babies this morning. She was due the 6th. Well she had 2 cold stretched kits both dead. So now we give her another shot before deciding her future. Gonna try breeding her to a smaller buck this time to see if that helps. Poor Otis doesn't get to be a daddy just yet after all.
I have also been dealing with a very severe case of bloat through my 9 week old grow outs thanks to kent feed being so darn unavailable and me having to switch feeds too quickly too many times. 4 have died and there are nearly 15 others not doing all that well. The Rex babies seem to be bouncing back because I saw them nibbling on some food this morning. The mini lops and one remaining mini rex babies are all at the mercy of mother nature. Been giving them gas drops mixed in pedialyte so maybe I can save a couple but maybe not, we will see. There are 6 babies that didn't get sick thankfully and they are all still doing quite well.
In other news:
I did some breeding yesterday and have a couple scheduled for today. After this I have one more breeding scheduled for this year in October and then breeding halts until March (unless I have one or 2 favorites I want babies from sooner).

Also bringing home this sweet little chocolate chestnut doe that Sue gave me to make up for the loss of my girl Cocoa Puff ❤️❤️❤️ I was so not expecting such a sweet gesture but I am forever grateful ❤️ welcome to the farm, sweet babies 🥰🥹

Well, Cricket had her babies today 😅 she decided to challenge her sister's (Smoke) record of 8 and had a total of 9 living and healthy babies!! 😱❤️ that is a MASSIVE litter for a mini rex 😅 there are some blacks, chocolates, and lilacs that I saw 🥰❤️ daddy is Cranberry. His swimmers sure do work 🤣🤣 now to go determine names!
Family Pride's Cranberry Bourbon and PC's Fruity Pebbles welcomed 4 little beans this afternoon 🥰❤️ Now just waiting on Cricket and Lace to pop out theirs! Hoping Platinum surprises me and is actually pregnant buuuttt I don't think she is 😭 but Cricket is definitely ready to pop and has been nesting like crazy all day lol Lace is also looking big and those babies are well cooked. She has pulled fur but hasn't built a structured nest yet but she's a first time momma so we'll see if she figures things out! 🥰
Yall. We went through and s*xed Rainy's litter of 7 yesterday... ALL OF THEM ARE DOES 😍😱 What are the odds of that?! I'm always happy about more does lol I hope these babies grow up pretty and show table ready!
When you bite your neighbors nose almost clean off, you go on the list for the next cull truck. Poor little Heart did not deserve that. She is supposed to go to her new home next weekend but I have reached out to the buyer and we are working on a plan. Scotch has lost all privileges, including life. Honestly might just put him down here so he can't attack other rabbits on the cull truck 😒

Some of these guys are looking stunning at 8 weeks and others are already destined for the cull truck 😬 I'm most excited for Rumor Monger right now 😍🥰 she's a broken Lynx which is a new color in my herd! Definitely doing that cross again. I am NOT crossing Baby and Foxtrot again because that litter is nearly all culls 🤢 Bite Me is the worst of the mini lop juniors. SUPER thin/narrow and it's not from malnourishment. Just got the sh*te end of her parents genetics.

My hand is cramping just thinking about it 🥲 just waiting for Tristyn Marie to bring her litter and tattoo stuff over so we can have a tattoo party 🤣 poor things got a bit wet from the rain while I was putting them in carriers 😅 wasn't planning to do this in the house but I definitely don't wanna do it outside in the rain and my shed doesn't have a light 👌😅

Has West and Sugar Lines. Keeping a sister and brother myself and his other 2 siblings are with my friend. He's gonna make an excellent producer one day. He does carry chocolate through his mom.

West lines. Carries chocolate through her mom. Keeping a different Jr doe with similar genetics but better type.
HB's Root Beer Float - Sable Chinchilla Sr Doe Mini Lop
Brood doe. Has been a fantastic momma. Has been used as a foster a few times and handles it like a champ. She's currently on a litter of 6 week old so she's rocking the mom-bod.
West's Not So Mellow - Broken Black Sr Doe Mini Lop
Proven chocolate carrier. A great momma and foster momma. Is also currently on a litter of 6 week olds so also has the mom-bod. Last year she did win a BOB at the Ludington quad show. Keeping a daughter from her that has great type.
TMK's Black Denim - Broken Black Sr Doe Mini Lop
West lines on both sides. Carries chocolate and dilute through her dam. Has had one litter and rocked being a first time mom, including fostering a baby from another first timer who didn't quite get things right. Litter is 6 weeks so she still has her mom-bod as well.
HMR's Lemon Shark - White Jr Buck Mini Rex
As much as I wanna keep this guy and his sister, I'm extremely down sizing and my friend and I are keeping back his brother who is better quality. Carries otter and castor under the white. Could potentially be broken under the white, but has been unconfirmed. Sire was a broken.
HMR's Sour Lemons - White Jr Doe Mini Rex
She's a Sr by weight as she didn't get the dwarf gene. But she'll make a solid brood doe. Sister to Shark so also carries otter and castor under the white and could potentially be broken.
HMR's Green Tea - Black Jr Buck Mini Rex
Carries chocolate and dilute through sire. If this guy was a doe he would absolutely be staying with me but alas, I don't need anymore pen*ses in the barn 😅😂 I'm already keeping two of his brothers. His biggest fault is long ears so breed to true dwarf does. He should do pretty decently on the show table and would be great for a 4h-er.
HMR's Bit O Honey - Black Otter Jr Rex (NOT mini)
Carries white through sire. Keeping 2 of her sisters I like better and a brother. She will make an excellent brood doe. Siblings will be going to national convention. Has recieved great feedback from judges.
Doyle's Biscuits and Gravy - Broken Black Otter Sr Doe Mini Rex
Another with mom bod on a 6 week litter. A great brood doe. Is a bit on the larger side so needs to be bred to a true dwarf buck.
Fuzzy Mayhem's Frosted Glass - White Sr Doe Mini Rex
Is castor under the white. A phenomenal breeder and producer. Is always eager to breed and will lift sky high. Also on a litter of 6-week olds. Would love to keep her but her genetics don't line up with how I'm reorganizing my lines.
Six Feather Farm's Original Dilemma - Broken Black Otter Sr Buck Mini Rex
I love this guy. He's got a shy personality but is very sweet. I have only tried breeding him once and he does not like me trying to help lol the doe is due June 6th so well see if she took. He will make a fantastic herd buck for someone. I just wish he wasn't an otter! Selling for what I paid.
HMR's Scotch and Soda - Broken Black Otter Jr Buck
Sr by weight. Not recommended for show as he was marked down significantly for his scattered whites, even for being a broken. I got his gender wrong and thought he was a doe for a while before his first show 😅 he would make a great breeder
THH's Foxtrot - Chinchilla Sr Buck Mini Lop
Foxtrot is a man-hoe. He will eagerly hump anything he can get to; my hand, my chest, the table, the judge, his neighbors whether they be bucks or does, the water jug, the cage scraper, etc... he's definitely a lover. I love him and his eagerness to produce but it's the p*e flinging that is causing me to part with him. Not destined for the show table as he is just over 7lbs. But he is a looker and will make some gorgeous babies! I have 3 litters from him right now and will be getting one more before he goes! Paid 250, only asking 150.
Howdy yall! Just thought I'd update with what all we have coming up in the nest box for the next few months!
I have 7 litters set to ween on June 1st when they are 8 weeks old. 4 mini lop litters, 1 rex litter, and 2 mini rex litters. Mini lop wise I will have lots of chinchillas and chin carriers, lots of blue and black steels, some chocolates and chocolate carriers and more. Rex wise I will have otter based whites and otters. Mini rex wise I have broken blacks, broken otters, one broken Sable marten who was a LOVELY surprise (and he's staying with me), and some castor/otter based whites.
End of June i will have 2 mini rex litters ready to wean. I'm SUPER excited for my first little smoke pearl baby to grow out. In that litter are also a couple blues and a broken blue, all shaded carriers. There are also 2 mini lop fosters in that litter from one of Tristyn's first time moms. Both are black gts like their daddy and one of them will be staying with me because I may have already gotten attached 😅🤣 the other litter consists of SEVEN blues and one single lilac for a total of EIGHT in one litter. That's massive for a mini rex!!! So proud of Smoke for raising them all ❤️❤️ 6 of those 8 are bucks though so I will have plenty for sale 🤣
Last litter I have currently in the nest box is a mini lop litter. They are just about a week and a half old and one of them already managed to fall out of the darn cage today. I did find it safe and sound and returned it to its siblings. These guys will all be chin carriers and they are great grand babies of my girl, Tarot, who was just put down.
I currently have 5 mini rex does due to kindle on the 6th. I have 2 mini lop does due the 9th, and my rex doe is due the 9th also 🥰❤️ and this weekend I will be borrowing Tarots full sister from Tristyn to breed her to my chin buck, Foxtrot (who is also for sale) so I can get more chins into my breeding program and to honor Tarot ❤️ that litter will all have names themed after Tarot
I have big plans for my breeding and some goals are changing so be on the lookout for rabbits for sale coming up in the next couple months! I'm super excited for my humble little farm 🥰❤️

A very heavy heart tonight. TMK's Fortune Teller aka Tarot, has earned her wings. We knew it was a possibility and we were as prepared as we could be. Tarot has had a problem with retaining kits and we decided that this time, she would get a days grace before we intervened on the kits behalf. After labor started today with bleeding but no progress, we milked some colostrum out and then put her down in order to cut the kits out in an attempt to save them. Unfortunately, it was all for not, because both kits were non-viable 💔😔 this was her last chance, one way or another but my heart hurts so much. Besides Prince, I've had her the longest and this loss will be felt for a while. Rest in peace my beautiful sweet girl, I love you more than words can say. I'll take care of your daughter, grand daughters, and all your great grand children and descendants to come. You were a staple in getting me back into the breeding world. It'll be hard going through chores tomorrow morning, but I will get through it. ❤️❤️

Gotta especially love when the Sr mini rex doe you entered is in fact, a Sr mini rex buck 🤣😅 no wonder "she" wasn't getting along with the other bucks as neighbors lol I plan to hold HMR's Scotch and Soda back for just a couple months to do a couple test breeding with him and see how he produces. One of the biggest things he was faulted on (for show A after the s*x change discovery lol) was how much stray white hairs he has on his hind end even for a broken. He should make an excellent herd buck but might not be the best fit for the show table because of it (but it's only once judges opinion at a time 😉)
I am SUPER proud of HMR's Shipwreck (broken jr doe mini lop) and HMR's Little Talks (solid Jr Buck Mini lop) today 🥰❤️ this was their first show and both did extremely well! Lil T got some very impressive comments on his overall type and I can't wait for him to keep growing! Shippy, even at 3.5 months old, took 1st in BOTH of her classes for broken Jr does! I am so darn proud of her and so happy for her to carry on her daddy's legacy ❤️❤️ I have been running on 2 hours of sleep since 2:30 this morning so my sleep deprived brain forgot to take pictures of them 🤦🏼♀️ I'll post pics of both in the morning 🥰
Unfortunately we lost Cocoa Puffs litter 😔💔 she decided being a momma wasn't for her. This was her third strike. I was prepared for her to not wanna care for the whole litter as she normally only likes to feed 4-5 but this time she didn't want to feed any of them and we had to put the 4 that survived the night down this morning. They were completely skin and bones. I don't think they even got colostrum from her. Unfortunately this means Cocoa Puff will be going on the cull truck today at the show. I love her and I'm probably gonna cry but I have one of her daughters staying with me ❤️
West's Crazy4CocoaPuffs and RC's Judgement Day welcomed 8 little babies this evening! I think we have 4 charlies, 2 regular brokens, and 2 solids. One of the solids is a very tiny runt so I'm not too hopeful that it'll survive long but we can cross our fingers and pray 🙏🏻🫶🏻 but I am happy that I see lots of chocolates in the litter so fingers crossed I get a couple chocolate steels!! 🤞🏻

Yall, it's been a WEEKEND 😩 took last in all my classes which is really discouraging since I was so excited for these does (class sizes were 3, 2, 8, and 2). But it is what it is. It's just been a very frustrating weekend and a very interesting experience.
-constipated for 3 days before we leave
-as soon as we leave, no longer constipated... upset tummy, IBS sucks
-on the way down, stopped at a gas station with a burger king attached. My sprite was brown...
-get down to Columbus
-get to hotel and parking lot next door had a ton of dudes in pimped out cars with color changing led lights blasting music with bass all the way up (tailgait party with cars?)
-checking in takes forever because their system was broken
-guy assigns us room 303, girl says it's taken, guy says it's listed as vacant, she says okay.
-get to room. There is a dude in there. He says we can have the room but the shower is clogged. No thanks 🙅🏼♀️
-go back to the front desk. They say he's not supposed to be there. They might not have another room available. We are angry
-they find us a room. There are stains all over the carpet. The bed sheets have holes.
-order pizza. Delivery driver is obviously high out of his mind. Asks us three young ladies uncomfortable questions like where we are from and how long we're staying
-we eat, we sleep
-this morning, as we leave for the expo center, notice a ground floor window is completely busted out and shattered. A break in attempt? No clue. Very sketchy
-last place in all my classes, tired all day, but good news! I bought a bunch of dishes and picked up a new bunny.
- get back to hotel. Tristyn and Jennifer go to desk to demand refund on our last night (Sunday night) because we are NOT comfortable staying longer.
-boyfriend is at home watching the rest of the herd. Let's the 5 rex growouts escape the chicken coop on accident. Calls to ask how to catch rabbits. Has to call friends down the road to help catch the last one.
-Jennifer discovers towels have black stains.
-Tristyn finds tick on one of the towels
-toilet gets clogged. (My bad)
-now in bed supposed to be sleeping but not. We all feel uncomfortable and unsafe and we all can't wait to leave tomorrow and go home
Not the experience I was expecting for my first OSRBA Mini Convention and kinda over it. Hoping next weekends show in Fowlerville goes better than this weekend 😅 at least I get to throw a bunch of bunnies on the cull truck lol

Prince turned SEVEN on April 6th! 🥺🥹 he's my best old man and he gets to live his retired life right here with me for the remainder of his days ❤️❤️ once the weather gets nice again he's gonna get some free run time in the side yard and I'm gonna buy him the tastiest of treats 🥰
For those who don't know Prince, I bought him from my friend Tristyn back in 2017 before we were even friends haha. Prince was just 12 or so weeks old, maybe a bit younger. He was destined to be my herd sire back then. But as it so happens, after college, and then the loss of my absolute favorite doe, I stopped breeding and got out of rabbits except for a couple favorites to keep for fair. The day came that I wanted to try breeding again and so I bought another rabbit, a doe (Tarot/Fortune Teller) from Tristyn and once she was old enough, I bred her to Prince, his first time breeding. I got a litter of 5 total with 3 being DOA (dead on arrival) and 2 alive. Unfortunately at around 2 weeks old, one of the babies passed and I was left with one survivor, Baby (Royal Fortune). Baby was and is to this day, Prince's only offspring. Well another year passed and it was just those three for a while when I got with Tristyn and really started to get back in to breeding and stepping into the ARBA show world. It was early summer of 2023 when we were trying to use Prince as a stud that we discovered his face looked odd. He had also stopped really cleaning himself and was always covered in loose compacted fur that he needed help shedding out. It was determined that Prince had a stroke at some point in his life that was never noticed and that was most likely the reason we weren't getting any does to conceive with him. So now, Prince is an old man that gets to live the rest of his life as comfortable and care free as possible. He was the start of everything I have now and I am forever grateful to this little buck ❤️❤️ he now currently has 8 great grand children in the nest box, almost 2 weeks old (Rainy x Judge litter) and both his granddaughters (Rainy and Fancy) are pregnant (Rainys babies were fostered and she was rebred to give a second chance at being a momma since she didnt quite get it right the first time) and due to have their little ones around May 6th, which happens to be Baby's 3rd birthday (and my horse's 22nd birthday). 🥰❤️
So in conclusion, even though he looks like a grumpy lorax, he's the best boy I could have ever asked for and I will love him til his very last day ❤️❤️ happy late birthday buddy!

The sad part of raising animals is making the decision to let them go. Strawberry has a bad case of wry neck/head tilt that has gotten so much worse in the matter of 3 days. He's still energetic and spunky buy this is absolutely no way to live so he will be put down this evening when my boyfriend gets home. He got to spend morning chores running around the play yard and now gets to hang out inside with me and Olive for the day. He was such a promising little buck and would have gone on to be such a great producer but at least I still have his brother ❤️😔
Had a spontaneous little photo shoot with the Rex girls today! They had a blast getting to run around in the small yard 😂

Flo had 5 little angels, all doing well.
Rainy had 7 but unfortunately, as a first time mom, she got some things wrong. She DID have them in the box and pulled some extra fur but the babies were all cold and one was completely unresponsive. After bringing them all in to warm them and give them back to their momma, I left them in a carrier in the living room while I went to a job interview. When I got back, Rainy had p*ed and pooped in the box on the babies so I ended up making the decision to foster them out. The unresponsive one never bounced back to life and went to Olive (my Great Pyrenees) as a snack. Denim is doing great as a first time mom and got one of the babies, bringing her litter to 7. Mellow got one baby bringing her total to 8. Baby got one of the tiny runts, bringing her total to 9. And Flo got 3, bringing her total to 8. Fingers crossed the fosters do well! Will rebreed Rainy tomorrow most likely when I breed her sister and give her another shot at being a momma ❤️❤️

GG blessed us with 8 beautiful little babies this morning. However, she had them in a pile of hay outside her nest box and when I found them, they were all cold and unmoving. I brought them in and warmed them and ALL EIGHT BABIES are now alive and moving. She has not fed them yet so all the babies are wrinkly and have empty bellies. I'm trying to get them to suckle but it's proving difficult. GG has absolutely no interest whatsoever in being a mother so as soon as my other doe and my friends doe have their babies (due tomorrow), we will be fosting GG's whole litter, as long as we can get them through til then. Wish me luck and send some prayers that all eight babies pull through!
Pebble had her babies! I got to watch her do her thing 🥰❤️🥹 such a special moment. She has 6 perfect little babies as a first time momma. 3 solids and 3 brokens 🥰🥰🥰 I love them all so much! Will definitely be keeping an eye on them because it's a larger litter for her being a first timer. I want to make sure she can handle that many ❤️ PC's Fruity Pebbles x Trianna's Chillin Like A Villain Baby names TBD, I have to get on my computer 🥰
Well, Baby's babies are doing very well! We did lose one of the fosters from Flo's litter but it was the tiniest of the litter and I didn't have high hopes for the little guy. But the other 2 fosters are thriving with their three older foster siblings and Baby is making very sure everyone is full fed. We still have very big milk bellies on everyone and I think Fresh (the broken dilute) is finally starting to share the milk bar 🤣🤣👍 I can't wait for these cuties to start opening their eyes but I also promised they would move back outside once eyes are open so I'm hoping they take their time too 🥺🥹 I just love stealing one for a quick snuggle throughout the day 😩❤️ they sure are a jumpy bunch 🤣🤣 Puppy Chow is the most active and jumpy of the bunch. He/she is gonna be quite the handful 🤣🤣❤️ watch til the end to see Puppy Chow attempt to live up to their name lol
On a lighter note, I checked on Baby's litter and boy is momma taking her job very seriously 🤣🤣 these babies will definitely not be going hungry any time soon lol she also have several bald spots because despite being in the house, she needed to make absolutely sure her babies were thoroughly covered with fur to stay nice and toasty 🤣🤣🤣
These three are so full of sass and only 1 week old! And look how CHUNKY! I can't wait to watch them grow 🥰❤️
