Well this is a new one for me. Litter of three lilac mini rex does. 1.5 weeks. This is the only one in the litter with this issue. Will be keeping my eye on her as she grows and if her eyes show any signs of causing her pain/discomfort, I will mercy cull.

But for now, HMR's Jail Bird will live a normal baby life with her sisters HMR's Penelope and HMR's Ambrosia 🥰

Mini Rex juniors! I have so many bucks that need new hutches and a couple does 🥴🫠😭 located in Grawn, MI. I know that ARBA National Convention is still a few months away but I am happy to hold, transport, and enter the rabbit at the buyers expense. I do plan on attending a couple more michigan shows before Convention; on end of September and one mid October so meets can be arranged for those shows as well. 🥰❤️ I will have more to post in the coming months before convention!

I don't even know what to say 💔 my sweet baby girl was fine this morning but I came home to find my momma Cookie dead in her cage. She had food water and shelter, no external injuries or any discharge from mouth, nose or bottom. This sweet girl was a gift from an amazing breeder. I'm gonna miss her but at least I have some babies from her.

Took in some rabbits for a gentleman who's kids stopped caring for them annnddddddd oops! I fell in LOVE with this boy 🥰❤️ he's a Lionhead and unfortunately his tattoo is unreadable so I can't find his breeder for information. But he is an absolute gentleman and I love him. And no, I do not ever plan on breeding for lionheads like I did with my Netherland Dwarfs 🤣🤣🤣 Tristyn Marie will definitely see to that 👍🏻🤣

Anyway, meet Murphy! I am going to spoil the heck outta this boy! I also plan on keeping the mini rex buck that came with him since, based on his tattoo, he is from the breeder that got me started in mini rex (Fuzzy Mayhem).

Three more litters! One yesterday evening and 2 this morning!

All three are Mini Rex litters

HMR's Valley Girl x HMR's Creme Soda had a whopping 8 babies for Valley's first litter. I fosted 4 of her babies to 2 other does (2 to Cheese and 2 to Sister) so that she's not too overwhelmed by her first litter

HMR's Sinister Sister x HMR's No Flash Photography had 5 but unfortunately Sister still hasn't gotten the hang of the birthing process and 4 were cold. Tried to warm and revive but to no avail. So she has one of her own and her two fosters.

And lastly, FM's Smoke N Mirrors (AZULA) x HMR's Creme Soda had 6 perfect little angels. This is gonna be Smokes last litter with me before I sell her ❤️❤️ she's been my matriarch of the mini rexes and I know she will make an excellent addition to someone's barn.

Had a great morning/afternoon today! We had the fair open rabbit show and my Jr Mini Rex Doe, HMR's Victorias Secret, took Best in Show ❤️ Reserve was the cutest little blue tort Netherland Dwarf. Got lots of lovely comments on my animals and a couple trouble makers that were sent back for biting 🤦🏼‍♀️ but hormones are high and this is the first time out for a lot of these juniors.

Then I came home and have 2 new litters!
Mini Rex - HMR's Cream Cheese (Lilac Doe) x HMR's Slim Shady (Blue Buck) had 4 babies
Netherland Dwarf - DNA's Aster (Orange Doe) x MK's Orange Twist (Qbert - Orange Buck) had 3 babies but unfortunately one is a peanut so it will be humanely put down later today ❤️

This is just the start of my national convention junior team! Hoping for some absolute stunners! Still some more litters due this week and in a couple weeks!

Yalllll how cute are these Netherland Dwarf babies 😭❤️ I love them so much! The orange doe, French, and the tort buck, Weatherman, are getting the hang of posing so well..... then there's Mall Cop, the little orange buck.... Lil s**t would rather be biting my fingers than practice posing 🤦🏼‍♀️ and I know these poses aren't perfect but they're 4½ weeks old so be nice to my babies 🤣🥴

Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful moms out there, both human and animal! HMR's Royal Fortune(Baby) blessed me with a litter of 7 this morning sired by Barrett's Fanta. This is my first litter with Fanta and my first litter in over a year from Baby 🥰❤️ I cried seeing those precious little beans in the nest box this morning because I have been trying for so long to get another litter from my matriarch of the barn. The only daughter I had left of hers is AGGRESSIVE and will be removed from my breeding program now that Baby has given me some new successors. I only kept that doe around because she was my only Baby baby 🥺 I so can't wait to watch these babies grow up 🥹
