Strawberry Yogurt Paw Treats for Dogs
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain unsweetened Greek yogurt (low-fat or full-fat)
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (hulled and pureed)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional and only if approved by your vet)
Supplements
- 1/2 teaspoon dog-safe calcium powder (optional)
Instructions
1. Puree the strawberries in a blender until smooth.
2. In a small bowl, mix the yogurt and honey (if using).
3. Add a small spoonful of the strawberry puree to the silicone paw-shaped molds. Swirl it around for a marbled effect.
4. Pour the yogurt mixture into the molds, filling them to the top.
5. Freeze the molds for 3-4 hours or until completely solid.
6. Pop the treats out of the molds and store them in the freezer.
Storage
Store the treats in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.
