Our sweet girl Sage is headed to the vet today for her vaccines, microchip, and spay! Huge shout out to Human-Animal Support Coalition for ALWAYS helping our rescue dogs.❤️

We still can’t understand how someone could dump such a precious, loving puppy, but we’re thankful she’s safe with us now, getting all the attention, love, and care she deserves.

Sage rides wonderfully in the car and has been doing great with the other dogs. She enjoys having her own space and isn’t afraid to let other dogs know when they’re getting a little too close to her face.

She’s not quite ready for adoption yet, but she will be soon! Keep following along for updates on this beautiful girl as she continues her journey.

Rico got his happy ending!

Our sweet boy Rico has officially been placed in a foster-to-adopt home, and we couldn’t be happier for him. He now has a wonderful family to love him, along with a dog and cat companion that he’s doing great with.

This is exactly what Rico deserved and what he’s been patiently waiting for a safe, loving home where he can finally just be a dog. From wandering the streets to finding a family of his own, his journey has been worth every step.

We love you, Rico. Go be the best boy and enjoy the life you’ve always deserved.

Rico is still looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home!

A few weeks ago, this handsome boy wandered up to Sage’s Spot looking for help. Like so many of the dogs we take in, someone failed him. Despite that, Rico has remained nothing but sweet, loving, and grateful.

Rico is great with other dogs, does well around kids, and couldn’t care less about chickens or ducks. He’s an easygoing boy who just wants attention, a comfy place to lay down, and someone to call his own.

Rico is now neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready for his next chapter. Unfortunately, he did test heartworm positive, but he has an appointment coming up soon to begin treatment. We will provide support throughout his treatment process.

This boy deserves so much more than sitting around waiting. He deserves a couch, a family, and someone who sees what an amazing dog he truly is.

Meet Sage! 🤍

This sweet girl was found outside of Sage’s Spot LLC in Nolanville after spending quite some time roaming on her own. She’s incredibly sweet, just a little timid at first, but she warms up quickly and loves giving kisses. One of our favorite things about her is that she “talks” after she yawns it’s absolutely adorable!

Sage does have a few smaller wounds on her neck that appears to be from scratching a previous wound that is almost healed, and we’ll be having it evaluated at her upcoming veterinary appointment. She is scheduled to be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped on the 17th.

We are so thankful she wasn’t seriously injured while living on the streets, especially so close to such a busy, high-traffic area. She’s still a young girl and deserved so much better than being left to fend for herself.

We’re so happy you’re safe now, sweet Sage. Your new life starts here.

Julien is looking for a new foster home due to no fault of his own. This sweet boy is incredibly friendly and loves being around his people constantly. He does great with other dogs and cats and just wants attention and love.

Julien is very affectionate and does like to jump and give kisses, but he already knows commands like “down,” “no licking,” and other basic commands. He knows to go to the door when he needs to go outside and currently sleeps in bed with his foster at night.

Julien is heartworm positive, but he has already started treatment. His foster would only need to give his monthly medication until his next appointment in two months. He’s fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. We will provide everything needed and help guide his foster through the process.

⚠️ Important: Julien is a flight risk and WILL dart out the front door if given the opportunity, so extra caution is extremely important when entering or leaving the home.

Julien truly is such a loving, happy dog who deserves stability and someone willing to give him a safe place while he continues his treatment journey. Please message us if you can foster or foster-to-adopt this handsome boy.

Bandit has been looking for his forever home since February, and we truly can’t believe this handsome boy is still waiting.

Bandit was dumped in Andice alongside four other dogs and has been patiently waiting for the right person to finally choose him. Despite everything he’s been through, Bandit is still so loving and loyal once he trusts you. He just needs someone he can truly bond with and feel safe around. Once you earn his trust, he is ALL about you and wants nothing more than to love his person.

Bandit is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He does well in a kennel or hanging out in the yard. He is not a flight risk and prefers to stay right by your side.

He is good with other dogs as long as introductions are done properly. Since being with us, he has only had two or three issues with another dog despite being around many different dogs over the months which was nothing crazy.

Bandit deserves so much more than sitting and waiting month after month for someone to give him a chance. He is ready for a home, a family, and someone to finally call his own.
