Roo had a busy weekend hunting rats!
Friday was barn hunt.(we won't talk about how bad she did)
Saturday and Sunday we went to Chicago to try a new sport to us, Happy Ratters. Entered a total of 12 runs. We had a lot of fun. City sniffers was such a welcoming club fir newbies.
Saturday Trial 1
Standard Ratter - 2nd place with a perfect score of 100. 2.5 minutes to find 1 rat, burrow(go in something), bridge( 4 paws on something)
Silent Hunt - 1st place, score 100, 9 second run!
Handler stays still and silent in the start box until the judge calls rat, you then may reward them. 2min time limit I believe.
Rat trap Level 1- 3rd place, score 100, 44 second run.
2min, one rat, every bag/box will have a tube.
Saturday Trial 2
Standard Ratter - 3rd, Score 100.
Dump Hunter Level 1 - score 100.
Level 1 handler stays 5 feet from hunting area.
Box-a-rat Level 1 - score 100
2min 30sec 1 rat hiding in a box.
Sunday Trial 1
Standard Ratter - 1st place, 1min 30sec, score 100
This run earned her RAT title.
Ultimate distance Level 1 - score 100
Handler sits in a chair 5 feet from hunting area.
Village Rats Level 1 - score 100, 27sec run.
Find 1 rat in a play house or child's pop up tent.
Sunday Trial 2
Earn a rat - 4th, score 100
2min 30sec to find 3 rats, you have to earn the right to hunt a rat. Dog must bridge or burrow before finding every rat.
A-maze-ing rat Level 1 - score 100, 7sec run.
Navigate a small maze to find a rat.
Road rage Level 1 - 1st, score 100, 6 sec run!
12 items on wheels, 12 tubes, 1 rat.
X2 perfect sniffing awards(every class with a perfect score of 100)
Sunday the 3 Judges awarded Roo with the Golden years luminary metal for being their favorite Old dog of the day ❤️❤️
We definitely had so much fun playing all the games!!
