This ban if passed, will help end the cruelty of puppy mills in our area. It's not the end, but it will help. Please contact your Metro Rep and urge that they vote yes on this ban. A list of Metro Council Members will be posted in the comment below:

The Louisville Metro Council is set to vote on the ordinance Thursday evening at Metro City Hall. Angela Webster, Benson's legislative aide, said she feels confident it will pass without changes.

Supporters of the ordinance say it will combat puppy mills, while others argue the blame is misplaced.

Hello, Everyone! Renee’ here. It’s been a looooong time. Been busy writing books! I just handed off the first in a series to my editor! Two or three more months and I’ll be submitting to agents.

The series features a feisty, kick-butt humane law enforcement agent who goes after those heinous, criminal animal abusers we all love to hate. In her first case, she brings down...can you guess?...a grand-scale dogfighting operation!

I’m working on the second book while my first is out for edits. My goal with these books is not only to entertain, but to inform, by shedding light on the tons of criminal animal abuse taking place in the country. Hopefully, through the medium of entertainment, more people will become involved in the cause.

The purpose of this post is not only to inform you of the reason behind my long absence, but to also ask a favor.
