Hey everyone!
I wanted to share an update on Hawk Equine Consultations and my current availability. My schedule is filling up quickly with farrier appointments and consultations, and I’m incredibly grateful for the continued support.
Farrier hours: 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM (with limited availability between 3:00–8:00 PM)
Lessons & sessions: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
At this time, I am no longer able to host lessons. However, I am offering traveling lessons, training sessions, and consultations.
Thank you all for sticking with me through this transition — it truly means more than you know. I’m making these changes to better support both my health and the long-term success of my business. 🤍

I am no longer taking on long-term horse training clients.
Due to some changes in my life, I will now be focusing on consultations, farrier services, lessons, and individual training sessions. I am still able to host both training sessions and lessons.
Life has a way of evolving and sometimes throwing a little chaos our way, and I’m adjusting to meet it where I’m at. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and continued support.

I wanted to share a memory from my personal Facebook. This is Blue — she goes by a different name now.
This mare was wicked cool. She was the first horse I ever started with a true cowhorse foundation, and she taught me so much.
She was incredibly handy, and starting her like a ranch/cow horse made a huge difference. One of my favorite things about her was how well she could use her body — everything felt smooth, balanced, and just about effortless.
That kind of start builds a horse that is not only capable, but confident and broke in a way that carries into anything you ask of them later on.
She was just 3 years old when I started her, and she really set the standard for what I look for now.
Some horses just stick with you — she’s definitely one of them.

Due to high demand, I will now be offering full farrier services and am taking on long-term clients.
Services offered include:
• Pulling shoes
• Corrective trimming
• Maintenance trims on a 4–8 week schedule
I strongly encourage a 6-week trim cycle, unless your horse has unusually slow hoof growth.
During appointments, I also like to educate owners on what to look for when it comes to bacteria, thrush, and other hoof issues. I’ll provide care and treatment guidance so you’re prepared to maintain healthy hooves between trims.
All equipment is sanitized between horses, and I take cleanliness and horse safety seriously.
Please call or text to schedule an appointment. (503)999-6374

I am accepting a limited number of horses for sales consignment.

My goal is to help horses reach their full potential while connecting them with the right homes. Each horse in my program receives consistent training, quality care, and professional marketing to give them the best opportunity to succeed.

Consignment Program – $900/month

This includes:
• Premium hay, grain, and supplements
• Professional sale photos and videos
• Advertising and buyer communication
• Horse worked 5 days per week
• 2 lessons per month with the owner (if desired)

Each horse receives individualized training to help improve rideability, confidence, and overall value while being prepared for their next home.

Upon sale, I take a 15% commission.

I am especially happy to work with young horses, mustangs, and horses needing additional experience, but I am open to discussing other horses as well.

If you are interested in consigning a horse or would like more information, feel free to message me to talk about whether your horse would be a good fit for the program.

My Paisley Desert mustang before and after his first trim. You can see how he stands square after his trim. He was much more comfortable. His tendons, muscles and joints had less stress.

🐎 Farrier Service – First Time Trims
I am offering first-time trims for horses that may need a little extra patience and understanding.
I especially enjoy helping mustangs, previously wild horses, or younger horses get through their first trims and start off on the right foot.
Requirements: • Horses must be halter broke
• They should have had their feet handled or picked up before
I have experience working with horses that have long feet, cracks, club foot, under-run heels, and other hoof challenges.
My goal is to help horses have a positive first experience so future farrier visits are easier for both horse and owner.
If you have a horse that may benefit from a patient first trim, feel free to reach out and we can talk about your situation.

I am not a licensed farrier. I have gained my experience through shadowing farriers and years of hands on experience.

🐎 Training Horses + Hauling Help Available 🚛
I know that sometimes the hardest part of sending a horse to training is simply getting them there. Because of that, I offer trailering for horses coming into my training program for owners who may not have a trailer or the time to haul themselves.
I haul with a stock trailer, which allows me to safely pick up just about any horse, and I keep it simple — I only ask that fuel costs are covered. I am willing to haul up to 3-5 hours of distance from Tri-cities, WA.
At the end of March I will be making a trip from Eugene, OR to Kennewick, WA, traveling along I-5, I-84 East, and Hwy 395 from Hermiston to Kennewick. I currently have one open trailer slot available along that route.
I also haul horses back home once their training is complete, making the process easier for owners from farther away.
If you’re considering sending a horse to my program and need help with transportation, feel free to reach out and we can coordinate details.

The first three photos below show the trailer that will be hauling from Eugene OR to Kennewick WA. The saddle rack will be removed.
The last photos show the stock trailer I use 😊
