One thing I’ve decided to start sharing more publicly is the horses who move on to greener pastures—whether that means a new home, retirement, or crossing the rainbow bridge. These horses leave a mark on our hearts, and I think they deserve to be celebrated.

This sweet mare has been a client of mine for the past few months. She has quite a few special needs and requires a little extra patience, understanding, and creativity during her trims. With plenty of scratches, compromises, and taking things at her pace, we always managed to have a successful session together.

Today was my last trim with this lovely old girl, and while I’m sad to see her go, I’m so excited for her next chapter. She’s headed to Oregon, where she’ll get to enjoy life surrounded by other horses, farm animals, and all the comforts she deserves.

I have a tradition of taking a photo with the horses who leave my care, so here’s ours. Not goodbye—just "until next time." ❤️

I am so excited to share this mare’s trim today! ❤️
She has been one tough cookie, but her progress has been so rewarding to watch. Her owner has been amazing and has put in the work alongside me to help her become more comfortable with having her feet handled — especially those back feet! We’ve gone from cow kicking and dancing to much more confidence and relaxation.
I’m so impressed with both her progress and the growth we’re seeing in her feet through consistent trims and care.
I wish I had before pictures from her first session, but I have a tendency to forget to take photos because I’m focused on getting started and making sure the horse feels comfortable, safe, and happy with the process. 🐴
Little steps add up, and I’m so proud of this mare and her owner!

This sweet pony came to me through consignment and had a few different goals ahead of her. She was in training to learn how to drive, become a reliable riding pony, and even build her skills in showmanship.
Every horse has their own path, and I love creating a program that meets the individual needs of each horse while helping them become confident, willing partners.

With the growth of my off-site lessons, training sessions, consultations, and farrier services, I wanted to refresh everyone’s memory on current services, pricing, and availability!

🐎 Riding Lessons & Training Sessions $45/hour flat rate
Your first lesson is always FREE! This is more of a meet-and-greet where we can get to know each other, discuss your goals, and make sure we are the right fit to work together.
🦶 Barefoot Trimming Services As a barefoot trimmer, I do not shoe horses. I can pull shoes and provide a trim, but I do not install shoes.
Horse trims: $65
Pony trims: $45
📋 Consultations & Assessments $50/hour
Consultations are available by me travelling to you. I provide my own equipment and work hands-on with both horse and owner.
A consultation is designed to give you knowledge, clarity, and a professional second opinion. I evaluate things such as:
• Training level and progress
• Body condition and overall wellness
• Behavior and communication
• Rehabilitation needs
• Areas where your horse may need support or improvement
Consultations are perfect for:
✨ First-time horse owners or buyers wanting guidance
✨ Sellers wanting insight into their horse’s training level or value
✨ Owners looking for an outside perspective and a clear plan moving forward.
Every consultation is educational and includes a written report so you leave with a better understanding of your horse and the next steps.
My goal is simple: to help horses and owners build a better partnership through education, communication, and thoughtful training.

There is nothing that makes my heart happier than having a client share their appreciation for the work I do with and for their horses. ❤️
I have a client whose horse was not the easiest when it came to the farrier. He was guarded, defensive, and understandably unsure. But from the very beginning, I focused on meeting him where he was — not forcing, not rushing, and not asking for more than he was mentally or physically ready to give.
That guarded side quickly started to soften. We went from long appointments to shorter, more positive sessions where we work together, take breaks, and share plenty of patience and snuggles. We are both learning, adapting, and getting through it one step at a time.
I never pressure a horse — especially those who are older, have physical limitations, or are struggling mentally when it comes to having their feet handled. They deserve understanding, compassion, and care.
It is such a blessing to work with these horses and have them as part of my rotation. Each trim, massage, and therapy session reminds me why I do what I do: to provide quality care, knowledge, and support for both the horse and their owner.
I am so grateful for the trust my clients place in me. ❤️

Hey everyone!
I wanted to share an update on Hawk Equine Consultations and my current availability. My schedule is filling up quickly with farrier appointments and consultations, and I’m incredibly grateful for the continued support.
Farrier hours: 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM (with limited availability between 3:00–8:00 PM)
Lessons & sessions: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
At this time, I am no longer able to host lessons. However, I am offering traveling lessons, training sessions, and consultations.
Thank you all for sticking with me through this transition — it truly means more than you know. I’m making these changes to better support both my health and the long-term success of my business. 🤍
