Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I had a change of plans and am now working at Doggie Details on Wellsian Way in Richland 🙂 Today was my first official day, and it was a great one! Hi everyone! I just wanted to announce that I will be reducing my Saturdays starting next month with the goal of eventually cutting them out altogether. I have been working Saturdays since the age of 16, and I'm not really sure how many years I've been working 6 days a week but it's been at least 6 or 7! I would like to spend time with family and friends, be able to travel out of town more, and be able to do at home and work projects that I simply can't do with the shop closed only one day a week. I'm very sorry to who this may effect, but I will be working later during the week! I'm hoping till at least 5 or 6 pm. It will require scheduling ahead, and I will obviously need to reduce clientele that can't stay on a regular schedule as this will effect my other clients and that's really not fair. It'll probably take a couple months to get this all straightened out but it'll get there. Thanks for being patient with me in the meantime!

Well it’s officially day 5 of the business being closed down due to weather. That leaves me with somewhere around 14 dogs to reschedule, and as most of you know I’m taking my big trip to Hawaii on the 25th for ten days. I am booked the first two weeks of March. What this means is that there is literally NOWHERE to reschedule at this point, as I have opened up all of my regular days off for business and have no more openings before I leave. If you CAN wait (your dog is just a bath and brush) please consider putting your appt off so that someone else who might have a shihtzu or poodle can take your spot. Breeds with long hair tend to get matted pretty quick. Let me know if you are willing to wait till mid March. So sorry its come down to this, was never expecting winter to get this ugly.

Phew! Its getting busy over here. Unfortunately I do not have a personal assistant, so this is just a reminder to all of my clients that although I try to get back to everyone in a timely manner, it's highly likely that it will take me awhile to sort through text messages and phone calls. If at first you don't succeed, try again! Sometimes messages and voicemails get lost in the fray. I do try to answer them as I can, but I do work around 50-60 hrs per week, and any spare time I get after that I spend with my dogs, family and friends. This gives me a small window after work in which to do all call backs. Text messages are the easiest for me to answer because I can re-read conversations, its much less confusing on a busy day when there is a lot of noise down here in the shop. I try to limit phone conversations by pre-booking appts, that way I don't have any interruptions during the work day. Everything is going great over here at the beginning of 2019! Lots of business and lots of great clients who I'm happy to also call my friends :) See you all soon.
