Introducing Madelyn Kinnard, Barn Manager of Century Oak Stables:
(we promise to post a pic of her soon!)

A Chicago native, Madelyn has family ties in Chester County, and is excited to help the Harvey family develop Century Oak Stables into a premier facility. Madelyn has had a successful riding career from her youth, competing in the USEF "A/AA" rated circuit throughout the Midwest, and qualifying for both the U.S. Hunter Seat Medal finals & the ASPCA Maclay finals. She attended Sweet Briar College in Virginia and the University of Kentucky, where she was a member of the UK Dressage and Eventing Team.

Madelyn is passionate about re-training off-the-track Thoroughbreds for second careers in eventing and show jumping, and has experience in this through the Makers Mark Secretariat Center at the Kentucky Horse Park. She has exercised racehorses at Churchill Downs for Eclipse Trainer of the Year, Dale Romans and has worked for top Hunter riders and Grand Prix riders, traveling all over the Southeast circuit.

Madelyn and the Harvey family have exciting plans for Century Oak Stables at Gateway. From improving the facilities, to developing a Thoroughbred rescue program, and, perhaps someday, a therapeutic riding program. We invite you to follow along with our progress!
