With the holiday just a week away, she came in for her little glow-up and charmed us as always.
She’s extra adorable, feeling thankful, and definitely ready for all the attention (and maybe a turkey snack 😉).

Meet Sophie 💜🐾 a Dixie's Finest success story! This client first brought her to us back in June, and they were both super nervous after trying a few different places and being sent home almost immediately. We couldn't get Sophie bathed without her trying to jump out of the tub, or dried without LOTS of howling. She seemed afraid of everything. We were able to get her body and three legs trimmed (with mom's help) and then sent her home looking like the Lorax with hairy feet and a wild muzzle. We're sensitive to stress so we don't push things. For her second groom, she started making more eye contact and we noticed that she would pause after howling, like she was waiting for us to stop because she yelled. It was a tactic! She wasn't stressed, she was "training" us😅 Today, she still resorts to some drama, but cooperates for almost everything and looks cute as can be!
