TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

Meet Hot Wheels, an incredibly special 8-week-old kitten who has already overcome more than most animals will in a lifetime.

This tiny girl was found outside, helplessly dragging her back legs. At just 8 weeks old, she had virtually no chance of surviving on her own. Thankfully, a compassionate Good Samaritan saw her struggling and refused to leave her behind. He brought her to a local veterinarian where she finally received the care and attention she desperately needed.

Knowing Hot Wheels would need specialized care, the veterinary team connected with Baby Kitten Rescue, an incredible 501c3 rescue dedicated to helping vulnerable kittens. Because of this amazing chain of compassion, Hot Wheels now has the opportunity to receive the specialized care, love and support she deserves in a foster home.

But first, she needed a way to get from Houston, Texas, to Los Angeles, California!

*Enter our incredible Flight Angel, Ross B!*

Ross generously donated his day to es**rt this precious little girl from HOU to LAX, ensuring she made it safely into the arms of her rescue team. Because of Flight Angels like Ross, distance doesn’t have to stand in the way of a second chance.

A HUGE shoutout to Ross B for giving his time and heart to help a kitten who needed someone to show up for her. Your kindness has made a lasting difference in Hot Wheels’ life!

Happy tails, Hot Wheels! Your next chapter is just beginning!

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

Nito has touched down from Houston to Seattle thanks to Flight Angel Marland! Marland donated her time and day to get this cutie to his new mama, Sofia! We can’t thank you enough Marland for all your help with this “precious cargo”❣️

This sweet boy was found with his litter mates born on the streets with no mama cat around. A Good Samaritan brought them to Lone Star Pawz where they were fostered and given a second chance at life.

This was a team effort with our partners at DART and we can’t say thank you enough! It truly takes a village to help make a difference in the animal rescue world and we are grateful for everyone involved!

From life on the streets to a FURever home! 🐾❤️

Sweet Raphael and his NINE siblings were born to a feral mama cat, facing an uncertain future from the very beginning. Thankfully, Lone Star Pawz stepped in and brought this little family to safety, giving them the second chance they so desperately deserved!

Kittens born on the streets face so many dangers and without rescue intervention, their story could have ended very differently.

Raphael spent the first six months of his life in foster care, growing, learning, and waiting for the day he would finally have a family to call his own. And now, that day has come! 🏡

A special thank you to Flight Angel Mary W., who generously volunteered her day to es**rt Raphael from HOU to BWI so he could finally be united with his FURever family! Her kindness and willingness to give her time helped turn Raphael’s second chance into a beautiful new beginning.

We are so grateful to Lone Star Pawz, the dedicated fosters and everyone who helped give Raphael the care he needed to thrive. Because of everyone, this sweet boy gets to experience the life every animal deserves. ❤️💛💙

From the streets to a loving home… Iggy’s second chance has officially begun!

This sweet boy was rescued from the streets and thanks to an incredible village, he’s now on his way to the life he always deserved. Long Way Home stepped up to pull Iggy from the shelter and foster him back to health, giving him the love, care and safety he needed to get ready for his next chapter.

And then came Rocky, our AMAZING Flight Angel!
Rocky gave up part of her precious day off to fly from Houston to Chicago to personally deliver this sweet baby boy. Talk about going above and beyond! THANK YOU ROCKY!

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

Sometimes the road home takes a few unexpected turns, but sweet Ebby never stopped deserving her happily ever after.

Ebby’s owner passed away in 2025 and this precious 12 year old chi entered Long Way Home program. She was quickly adopted, but heartbreakingly, her new owner passed away unexpectedly just three months later.

Thankfully, Ebby’s story didn’t end there. She was adopted once again and she is now HOME with her forever family thanks to our incredible Flight Angel Charlene W!

A huge shoutout to Charlene, who donated her day to help make this reunion possible. Charlene flew from Houston to Nashville to deliver this “precious cargo” to her new family. She truly lives the SWA way with her Servants Heart ❤️💛💙
And we also want to give a special thank you to Jacob, who helped Charlene carry Ebby to the terminal so they could make a quicker delivery. With Charlene needing to catch her flight home, Jacob’s help was a HUGE! We appreciate you and the kind act of service!

Another incredible transport made possible by amazing people coming together for a dog who deserved a second chance.. and a forever home.

Thank you to all of our friends at LWHA for another amazing transport and for continuing to give these deserving pups the homes they’ve always deserved.

Happy Tails, sweet Ebby! Your happily ever after is finally here.
