Felix is learning to tolerate our trail dog, Sonny, at his feet during rides… and Sonny is learning to follow my commands from horseback. Did you know Dalmatians were originally bred to be carriage dogs, running ahead of & beside carriage horses in crowded streets & protecting the horses back at the barn?

My “dream team”! I love all my horses, but these 2 boys are my favorites. They’re my favorites because they are the best fit for me & what I do: Boone the Mustang is a super trail/obstacle horse (go all day, never gets tired, & will tackle any obstacle with thought & bravery) & Felix the Quarter Horse is my ranch/show horse prospect (solid & sensible, even as a baby 2yr old, with loads of talent). Both of these boys can & will do pretty much anything I ask with no shenanigans, even after time off.
