Psalms 113:3
“From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.”
This beautiful verse is a powerful reminder that God is worthy of praise at all times and in all places. From dawn to dusk — from the first light of morning to the fading colors of evening — His name deserves to be lifted high.
This is more than a statement about time; it speaks to the continual rhythm of a life anchored in worship. Just as the sun faithfully rises and sets, our praise should not depend on our circumstances. Whether the day begins with hope or ends in weariness, God’s worthiness never changes.
Praise realigns our hearts. It lifts our focus from what is temporary to the One who is eternal. In seasons of joy and in seasons of trial, we declare the same truth: He is good, He is faithful, and He is worthy.
Let your life reflect what your lips proclaim — that from sunrise to sunset, the Lord is to be praised.
Let’s Pray
Lord, from the rising of the sun to its setting, help me to honor You. Let my heart remain anchored in gratitude for Your goodness, mercy, and faithfulness. Whether I walk through joy or trial, remind me that You are always worthy of praise. Teach me to worship You not only with my words, but with my life. I love You, I praise You, and I ask this in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
