KRWC Kohala Ride Wild Club Dedicated to sharing the love of horses with keiki all age and adults.

We take malnourished and neglected horses and work them into our program of love, safe and great way to introduce your keiki or anyone to equines KRWC Kohala Ride Wild Club is a horse club owned and run by local residents of North Kohala, Shay Vandzant and Lachelle Crabbe

KRWC is aimed at bringing together horse lovers alike to learn all aspects of developing character, leadership skills and co

nfidence through the teachings being offered to the keiki and adults who share an interest in learning everything there is to know about these beautiful animals. Horsemanship – with respect to healthcare, nutrition, stable management, handling and riding a mount safely, correctly and with confidence. Organized Teamwork – including cooperation, communication, responsibility, leadership, mentoring, teaching and fostering a supportive environment. Respect – for the horse and self through horsemanship; for the aina (land); and for others through service and teamwork. Education – at an individual pace to achieve personal goals and broaden knowledge through teaching others. In our club you will learn about –
• Establishing Safety Habits and Daily Care of a Horse and Tack.
• Learning to Ride Independently with Control.
• Having a Basic Understanding About Horses and Why They Do What They Do
• Horse Breeds
• The Anatomy of a Horse
• Dressing and Un******ng a Horse
• Nutritional Needs
• First Aid

Happy thanksgiving! With all the challenges we have been faced with this year and more to come, we have all been blessed with this life we live and lifestyle we get to choose! I am thankful for everything and everyone in my life both positive and negative it makes us strong enough to keep pushing forward through it all and appreciate the blessings! I hope everyone enjoys this day spent with family and friends and even strangers and able to pass on the best gift of all !!
