Earlier this year I teamed up with to offer a Paw Culture session benefiting their 2025 Fairy-Tails Ball. This fundraiser raised over $200,000 to provide critical care to pets in our community, including spay and neuter surgeries, dental procedures, urgent medical treatment, pet food assistance and more. Incredible work!

This handsome 15 year old and his parents were the lucky winners of our session. I had so much fun photographing Yin in our studio in support of a great cause!

I want to tell you about the special girl that started it all at .

Sadie was my very first dog. My parents picked her up from a nearby farm when I was 13 years old, and for the next 15 years she was my angelic companion. Sadie preceded my career as a photographer. She knew every version of me. She followed at my heels as I learned the ins and outs of using my camera around the countryside near our home when I was a teen, followed me to my college years at KU, and eventually to Kansas City.

As she got older, I began to recognize the value of having good portraits of her. She was my favorite creature, after all, and thus my favorite subject. In 2023, she passed away peacefully in my lap. Since then, the photos I have of her have only become more precious to me.

I wanted to share that gift with others. If you have a pet, your camera roll is probably full of photos of them. My goal is to create high-quality, fine-art keepsakes that capture their personality, so you can print them and hang them on your walls, and pass their memory down for generations to come.

Thank you for following along! Opening a new studio has been a big step for me, and your support means everything. If you’re curious about having your pet photographed, please send me a message! I’m always happy to chat and I love seeing photos of your pets. 🩷
