Grands are here and filling my days with all things wonderful. I just looked over and this is what I saw. He's holding both of Tessas babies and they are loving every minute of his cuddles! This young man loves the puppies so very much and is so very good with them.
Both of these babies are from Tessa and Mully. Tessa is 13 lbs and Mully is 15. Both are small in stature. These boys are looking to be rather mild mannered just like their momma.

I love love love Detroits face marking! He's the boy sitting up. While I can never guarantee sized, I'm estimating these boys will likely be like dad in build. Dad is 15 lbs and 13 inches. 🩵

Denver is the brother laying down. He's a pretty little guy too. He has his forever family waiting for him already. 💙

These two shelties boys are soooo soft! They are growing so much and I'm enjoying every single minute of it! 😍
Just a side note-While it may look like I'm allowing our baby to use me as a chew toy, I'm really not. It's just poor timing on my part for having stopped taking the video where I did. I quickly moved my hand and redirected. Puppies using us for chewing is not a good habit. 😉

Look at this little guy, good grief! Meet Detroit. I just can't get enough of him! He's 5 weeks old now and still on the prowl for his forever. Shelties are always soft, but this guy takes the cake! His fur is silky soft!
Mom is Demi, 9lbs, and dad is Mully, 15 lbs. Detroit is looking to likely be more dad's size, I think he's just perfect. 😀

Edit: July 17th (more than a week later!!) our sweet girl had two TWO beautiful babies. Both are larger than her normal...

Edit: July 17th (more than a week later!!) our sweet girl had two TWO beautiful babies. Both are larger than her normal tiny babies but both are very healthy. I waited to post as I was concerned that she might have been having complications but nope! Our girl just enjoyed her pregnancy and eating and gained a few extra pounds! Pictures to follow😀

Anyyyyyyy day! Miss Chunky Momma is sure making me wait for this litter!
Miss Emmy (that's what we reeeeally call her😉) is just about as round as she can get! We've been on watch since Monday but she's holding out. She's happy and doing well, enjoying all of the extra attention! She looks like she's lost her tail, she's just so big!
Any guesses as to how many babies?

I reached in to take him from his mom who had just finished feeding him to snag a picture or two really quick. Mom kept trying to lick him, insistent like. Well, now I know why- milk face! Guess I should have listened to her! 😂

As our mommas get to their retirement, our breeding program must change. Change is hard, we grow with our furries and get know all of their specialness.
This one though, this one was easy! Our Emmy girl is looking to retire soon. She's incredible and has the most wonderful babies! We were fortunate enough to be the next home for her granddaughter, keeping her wonderful line in our program.
Meet our next generation of mini schnauzers...Id love to share her name but Im still working on it! We just met today and I so very much love her!

I absolutely love my job. One of the best, most bitter sweet, moments is placing the puppies in their new families arms. This litter has found their furevers- from Iowa to Kansas to Illinois. They were the most wonderful bunch of cuddle buddies, such snugglers! My house is so quite without any puppies. I will enjoy the moment and hope that it's short.
