Miracle update 💛

I took Miracle to the vet today, and let me just say… the vet and techs could not believe she is 15. She truly does not look or act like a senior cat.

She is incredibly sweet, social, and just wants to be loved the way she has been for the last 15 years before losing her person.

A huge thank you to the amazing staff at Plaza Animal Hospital for taking such good care of her. Miracle is now up to date on all vaccines, including rabies. She also tested negative for FIV and leukemia.

She did have a pretty significant ear infection in both ears, but that is already being treated.

You may notice a slight wheeze when she breathes. This is something she has had since she was a kitten. Her family shared that she was found after nearly drowning as a baby, and it is believed that is where the wheezing came from. Since this has been present her entire life and she is otherwise doing well, there was no need to put her through unnecessary diagnostics.

At this point, the only thing Miracle truly needs is a loving home… and maybe a good dental cleaning.

She has so much life left in her and so much love to give. We just need to find her person again. 🐾💛

Sometimes the hardest ones are not the sick or injured… it is the ones who are grieving.

This is Miracle, a 15 year old sweetheart in Kannapolis whose whole world just changed. Her owner, who loved her deeply, recently passed away. She has been a little lost ever since, and it shows.

She was his companion, his comfort, and his constant. Now she is just trying to understand where her person went.

Miracle is a gentle, affectionate girl who loves to be petted… and once you start, she will politely insist that you keep going. 😊 She was indoor and outdoor and did well in that lifestyle. She was also best friends with a schnauzer, so she may do well with a calm dog.

Right now she does not need chaos. She needs a soft place to land. Someone patient. Someone kind. Someone who understands that she is grieving and just needs to feel safe again.

We are currently looking for a foster or adopter for Miracle. She is not in our care at this time, but we are helping find her a safe and loving home. The good news is her family is willing to cover basic vetting so she can start fresh.

Four adoptions this week… and I won’t lie, it made me a little happy sad.
I am so thankful these babies found their homes, but it always feels a little quieter after they leave.
Not that I am anywhere close to an empty nester… let’s be real, I still have my crew and plenty of adoptables. But I can still be dramatic about it 😂
So of course I did the only logical thing… pulled a mama and her five babies.

P***y is our tiny little sprite with a big personality. Sweet, sassy, and a nonstop purring machine. She loves people and does great with both cats and dogs.

Her only downside? She firmly believes that if you are eating, you should be sharing.

P***y is quirky, affectionate, and completely adorable, and we truly do not understand why she has not been adopted yet. She has been waiting far too long for someone to scoop her up.
