Hi everyone!
I'd like to introduce myself!

I'm Cara, owner of Your Dog's Bestie. I am a dog walker and I have the best job ever! I get paid to pet and play with dogs!! (and cats!)

I've had pets all my life, including dogs, birds, hamsters, many fish, and a cat! I have always had a passion for animals and have taken care of friends' and family's pets for over a decade. Last fall, I decided to try it out professionally, and I fell completely in love with it! I currently offer dog walking and drop-in pet services, but the ultimate dream is a doggy daycare/boarding facility on the same property that I reside on.

I am a vegetarian who loves spending time in nature. I love camping, hiking, and kayaking! I'm also very passionate about most crafts! but especially jewelry making, more specifically wire wrapping. I enjoy cooking and putting my heart and soul into what I make. Food is definitely a love language of mine, as well as memes!

I have two dogs of my own, as you can see from my pictures. Kalia, 11, is my red nose pitbull, and Kali, 13, is my brindle mystery doggo. Kalia has arthritis and doesn't get around as well as she used to, but she doesn't let it slow her down! You'll find her at the dog park trying to play with the pups! Kali definitely has some bully tendencies and loves her sleep, cuddles, and blankies! Kali goes to the dog park for pets from the other humans and wants nothing to do with the other dogs! They both are the best cuddlers ever, and my entire world! I'm sure you'll see lots of them! 🥹🥰

Not only has my business been incredibly fulfilling in terms of the animals that I've cared for, but I have met the best humans, too. The universe has brought me the best clients that any beginning business owner could ask for! I am truly blessed and grateful to have the opportunity to work with all of these animals and their humans.
