Considering painting all of our interior doors and door trim something lighter to help brighten things up. Plan to also repaint the house something warm and white. Thoughts? Would you paint doors?

Hire a carpenter to make a door.

Anyone have any ideas for a door for this room? We have looked but can’t seem to find anything that will work with this odd angle. Thank you! Edited to add this is a home office and doors are needed for noise control.

A faux plant.

Got any ideas on what to do with this space here?
At first glance it may look useless, but this little corner beside the stairs could actually become one of the coolest spots in the house.

Some people would turn it into a cozy reading nook with cushions and warm lights 📚✨
Others might create a mini indoor garden filled with plants to make the space feel fresh and alive 🌿

You could also add a stylish bench, floating shelves, family photos, or even a small coffee corner ☕
With the right design, this forgotten area can become both beautiful and useful instead of just empty space.

So… what would YOU do with it? 👀

Try a couple pictures on the right landing wall.

We moved into this house 2 months ago.. didn’t know what to put in this area. I had the Christmas tree here which looked beautiful and today I just swapped it out for this tree i bought from Costco, it just looks empty to me and need some ideas please 🙏

Try a deep greyish blue.

When I bought my house a few years ago….the bedroom came with a burnt orange wall that I dislike & that doesn’t match my bed or bedroom furniture. I’ve been wanting to change the color or do an accent wall, but it’s such an awkward wall/ceiling shape that I’m afraid I’ll make it look worse. Place a patterned rug in front of the fireplace that picks up the dominant colors of your walls. Add a small coffee table and a couple of chairs in a beige color for this sitting room.

I’m stuck and I second guessing every decision I’ve made. Talk me off the ledge. What would you all do with this room. I can’t change the paint color.
