We have two locations in Johnstown and Ebensburg, PA. Johnstown Veterinary Associates is the only practice in the Greater Johnstown Area and its surrounding communities that is American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited.

Ever wonder what your veterinarian is doing “in the back”? 👀🐾

🩺 Examining and treating hospitalized or sick patients

🔬 Reviewing bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology and other lab results

🩻 Reading and reviewing X-rays and ultrasound findings

💻 Researching complicated or unusual cases

📝 Writing medical records and updating patient charts

💊 Calculating medication dosages and writing prescriptions

📞 Calling clients with test results and treatment updates

🧠 Developing treatment and diagnostic plans

🏥 Performing surgeries and procedures

🦷 Performing dental procedures and evaluating dental X-rays

💉Sedating and anesthetizing patients and overseeing their recovery

🚨 Handling emergencies that come through the door

🤝 Consulting with specialists or other veterinarians

👩‍⚕️ Answering questions and helping technicians and assistants with cases

📋 Reviewing records from emergency hospitals or other veterinary practices

❤️ Checking on hospitalized patients throughout the day

* 🐾 And, of course, occasionally trying to type while the patient insists on being part of the process.
