Meet new Hamilton Hound, Ryder!

Ryder, from Hamilton Hounds, needed an Uber to his checkup, so I volunteered. He was so well behaved! We stopped for a pup cup and he really enjoyed it. He is quite the messy eater, but that’s ok. My car needs a good cleaning anyway. 😝 For more info on Ryder, or any other Hamilton Hound, contact:

Watch how the larger dog properly corrects the little guy for jumping. Do not stop or correct your dog for this. If big dog was not allowed to correct the unmannered dog, the little dog will continue to misbehave and the situation will escalate to violence. Obviously if the big dog overreacted, that would be different. One bark stopped the little dog so he/she knows not to do that again. Now a good relationship is maintained.

HOWEVER, North Florida PAWS, Inc. / Hamilton Humane Society, Inc. is awaiting notification if their new grant request will be approved. Should know within 2-3 weeks. PREVENTION through Spay/Neuter is the best way to reduce the overpopulation of unwanted, abandoned, neglected and abused pet animals. Next best way is to ADOPT NOT SHOP. If you can't adopt, foster. If you can't foster, volunteer to help your local shelter or rescue.
