My handsome Eragon went to the vet today. He has a tumor on his middle toe! We have done a biopsy and waiting for results. Please throw up a prayer it isn’t cancerous!!! He was super good at the vet and got sooo many complements on how handsome he is!! He weighs 136 pounds but he is way shorter than his daddy Drago ever thought to be which makes him a FATTY!

Today is one of the saddest days of my life. We had to make the decision to put Drago and Khaleesi down today. Drago has been declining and loosing weight and we have done everything we could do but he can’t hold his food down and get any nourishment, Khaleesi has been on two heart medications and two diuretic meds but even after taking almost 7 liters off fluid of her a couple weeks ago, she was already huge and has labored breathing and she couldn’t comfortably lay down. I was doing this two weeks ago and turned around. Over the weekend, Drago was miserable and starving, but couldn’t keep food down and Khaleesi was so uncomfortable and just got bigger and bigger. This was the right decision but my heart can’t reason that way and is broken into a million little pieces. They have had a great life, even though hers was shorter than it should be. King Drago and Queen Khaleesi will be together and will meet me in Heaven with the others before them- I will be the one in Heaven with a whole herd of dogs because God says we will want for nothing in the kingdom of Heaven-
Until we are together again- I LOVE YOU BOTH

LONG POST BUT PLEASE READ AND ASK EVERYONE FOR PRAYERS
I am asking for prayers for my big boy Drago who is almost 12. Since New Year’s Eve we have fought an ear infection that we thought turned into an abscess in his ear- two vets that have not helped at all, and one of those did something that made things worse- anyway- we have been going to Houston Veterinary clinic SINCE THE OTHER VETS WERE NOT HELPING and let me say that is the best treatment we have ever gotten -they care what you think and will help you with decisions and weigh options- anyway- Drago ended up, with a huge mass on the side of his face after the other vet offices didn’t help-The vet drained it, treated with two antibiotics and it went away. Four days later after he finished antibiotics it showed back up and fast-in a matter of 5 hours Sunday, it wasn’t there at 1:30 and was huge when I got home at 6:30!!
Before this we were at the vet on Saturday to address him loosing weight (which we addressed with a previous vet in November and they ran bloodwork which the results didn’t make sense to Megan (remember she is a little over a year from a vet herself) and got wrong answers and not really answers and some meds thrown at a misdiagnosis then) anyway, we got new bloodwork done at Houston clinic Saturday that came back perfect. But now this mass came back literally the next day, so we sent a sample of the gunk that was in it off Monday and should get results tomorrow or Friday.
Please please please pray this is not cancer and it’s just an infection and we get results telling us what antibiotics will treat it!
Drago will be 12 this year and has lived beyond his expected years, but he is still happy and active and otherwise healthy. I have spent over two grand this past 2 weeks and will do what we have to if he can be treated and stay happy and healthy. We are not asking for money, what we need are prayers and they are free! I also ask that if you are a fur baby mom- please check out Houston veterinary clinic- let them know I referred you- they are great! Also, please share in your prayer chains, pray pray pray!

Do NOT LEAVE THEM IN THE CAR-
DO NOT TIE THEM IN A SPOT TIED IN THE YARD- THE SUN MOVES
DO NOT LEAVE WATER IN THE SUN
DO NOT OWN THEM IF YOU DO THESE THINGS!!

Guess who got to stay the whole day at work with her mama!!!!
Khaleesi did and she made sure to pet every person there every time they walked by my office - she was such a good girl! Then we took a road trip and she whispered all their secrets to me!

It’s been a few weeks since TyTy went back to school with Megan but that boy sure had a great time while he was at his born to home with his parents (fur parent) and his g ma and g pa humans - there was not a day that he tried to get every piece of sand from the yard stuck somewhere on his body by 9 am!!
