I am so bad at posting🤦🏼‍♀️ the last two weeks we have had some reoccurring customers and were so happy to have them back! We are going to spend the next two weeks enjoying some time with family as well as moving into our new home.

Things will be a little different, but don’t worry, I still will be doing boarding! We are a very very small in home dog boarding business. And I will now be operating on an even smaller scale as we live in the city for a bit.
For the time being, I will not be accepting any new clients. Eventually, I will be accepting new dogs again. But during this stage of our life I believe it’s best to continue with the dogs that I know instead of adding new dogs.
* If we have spoken in the past about boarding your dog and I did not have availability. I am more than happy to try to work something out with you!! *

For the time being we will be on the east side of Jefferson City. We will soon be back to Centertown once we complete the build of our new home.

Fourth of July is quickly approaching, here are some tips and tricks to help keep your pets comfortable and safe.

🎆 Keep them indoors, trust me, your dogs do not want to watch fireworks with you.
🎆 Offer calming treats or prescription medication from your vet.
🎆 Keep them in a safe room with the tv on or a sound machine playing, this will keep them comfortable
🎆 Take them out on a leash, even if your yard is fenced in.
🎆 Give toys, bones or any form of enrichment to keep them calm and distracted
🎆 Try to do your potty breaks before dark!
🎆 Make sure they have a collar with ID on it, just in case they do run off
🎆 If you have a runner, it’s best to keep them in a kennel or separate room in case they slip out of the door.
🎆Even dogs who do not typically run away can be scared enough to make a break for it. It’s best to keep your dogs in a safe and secure place throughout the night.
🎆 Make sure to have cool water available for them.
🎆If you pet has a nervous stomach I recommend doing an earlier feeding time to prevent accidents!
