Everyone always asks what the rhyme or reason is to me videoing and taking pictures…

Honestly it depends on how the day is going, how the horses are acting, and Travis’s mood. 😂

Sometimes he’s perfectly fine with me standing there with a camera.

Sometimes he absolutely does NOT want me standing there with a camera up his ass.

And imagine being his wife AND the one trying to get the pictures and videos...

So we’ll promise to get ONE photo or video a week....unless one of us is critically injured.

Anything above that just consider it a bonus…coming from someone going on 8 years of marriage with my business partner.

We try folks. We really do. 😂

Just a little over 2 weeks in for Starbucks.

From barely knowing the feel of a halter to being saddled, bridled, and ground drove.

Travis is doing a great job earning her trust and laying that foundation.

Thought it'd be fun to share some of our 2027 crosses we are looking forward to!

We have 7 personal mares due all sired by Tamale 🔥

First up is Cruella. This baby should be a show stopper!

This mean the world to us! We have been blessed with some of the best friends/clients over the years.

Travis has a multitude of clients he caters to.

Some people want a nice dependable trail horse.

Some bred their favorite mare and want that baby started and headed towards being a cutter in 90 days.

Some people let a horse grow up until it’s 4 or 5 years old then bring it to us wanting a safe broke horse in 60 days.

Those are VERY different expectations.

And honestly the pressure placed on a c**t starter can be what breaks a c**t starter.

Not the finished horse that has already been trained, shown, branded five times, bought and sold, and polished up for the next owner.

Not the sale barn special that someone else already put miles on and he needs to fix.

The pressure comes from being expected to take a completely green horse and somehow produce the finished product in 60–90 days...that is safe for the owner to ride.

Your c**t starter may have 90 days with that horse. Maybe 120 if we're lucky.

And that is a luxury...not a lifetime of training.

A horse is learning how to carry a rider, understand pressure and release, use it's body, develop confidence, accept new environments, and become a willing partner.

That takes time.

So please don't compare your c**t starter to someone who gets to ride finished horses every day and then markets them as if they magically became that way overnight.

There is a HUGE difference between starting a horse and finishing a horse.

We will always take pride in what we can accomplish in the time we have.

But we will never apologize for refusing to rush a young horse just to make a timeline look good.

Because at the end of the day we'd rather send you home with a solid foundation than a horse that was pushed past what it was ready for just so somebody could say...

"It was broke in 90 days".
