Not gonna lie, I was REALLY worried about these two in the beginning. Maggie acted like MK was the most offensive thing that had ever entered her home. 😅

Now look at these sassy girls — tag teaming chaos, keeping each other on their toes, and acting like they’ve always ruled this roost together. 💅🐾

Princess MK update, for those keeping track of her royal duties 👑:

Her Highness has officially settled into the kingdom and would like it known that she runs a very tight ship! Breakfast must be served promptly, belly rubs are no longer optional, and all toys belong to her… even if someone else was playing with them first (poor Max).

She has appointed herself Chief of Household Security (barking at absolutely nothing), Lead Interior Designer (rearranging blankets and beds to her liking), and Personal Trainer (ensuring everyone gets their daily steps chasing her around).

Max and Maggie have reluctantly accepted their roles as loyal subjects. The children, of course, are completely wrapped around her tiny royal paw.

In summary: she’s small, she’s spicy, and she’s 100% in charge. Long live Princess MK 👑🐾🩷

MK is continuing to settle in like she’s owned this place her whole little life 💅🏼

Max and Maggie have officially accepted their newest little shadow… after weeks of thorough inspection, several side-eyes, and establishing who’s really in charge (spoiler: still them 😌).

She’s adjusting to her new routine phenomenally, stealing the best snuggle spots, and turning up just enough sass to keep things interesting. Safe to say—she fits right in 🐾✨

MK’s POV: Vet Visit Edition 🐾

Mom took me to this place today… lots of loud noises, weird smells, and strangers touching my feet. Rude.

First they stole some of my nails. Then someone poked me with a tiny stick (excuse me??). BUT everyone kept telling me I was a very pretty girl, so I allowed it.

There was one really nice lady who looked me all over and told Mom I was perfect — obviously she has excellent taste.

Then Mom had the AUDACITY to say we’ll come back in a few weeks and do it all again.

I’m starting to think this “vet” place is a trap.
At least I looked fabulous the whole time. 💅🐶

Mom took me on a little “adventure ” around the house this morning… as if I wasn’t already planning to inspect the entire property myself. 🐾

There were a MILLION new smells to sniff, suspicious crunchy things blowing around everywhere (Mom says they’re “leaves”… I remain unconvinced), and some very rude sharp spots on the ground she called rocks.

BUT then I discovered the BEST thing ever… big warm spots called concrete. ☀️ Clearly designed specifically for tiny dachshund princesses to sunbathe on 💁‍♀️

Overall review of my morning:
10/10 exploring
0/10 rocks
100/10 warm sun spots 👑

Max and Maggie are completely smitten, the kiddos are head-over-heels, and our hearts are FULL 🥰
We are so incredibly thankful to Little House Pups for trusting us with their precious girl.
