Welcome to T&L Sweet Wittle Velma 🎉 Velma is 8 weeks old. Can you believe someone dumped this baby? We'll never understand why people are so cruel to animals.

We may only be two women but WE HAVE A VILLAGE! We had something come up & needed the 5 fur babies leaving on Monday to go tomorrow. We contacted several of our volunteer transporters & had 3 say yes. Last minute plans are hard to accommodate but our village stepped up. Whether you share our posts, donate to us, pray for us, transport for us, WE ARE THANKFUL FOR YOU 🐾❤️🐾

Nina is a jackabee (Jack Russell Beagle mix). She is 8 months old & absolutely adorable. Nina will be on her way to her furever home in the next few days.

FOSTER NEEDED:

We need a foster for an 8 week old puppy. Before we get asked, we do not know what breed he is & he is not potty trained or house trained. He's 8 weeks old. (Things that will be asked 🤷)

6/12/20 10:40pm. We are calling it a night. We did not get sight of him until after 9pm. Watched him walk through several yards, right past our vehicles 🤦‍♀️ Traps are set & baited. Will check traps at 2am.

6/13/20 6pm. We need of volunteers to come park their vehicles in different locations to watch for Jughead. Message us if you are available.

Saturday, 6/13/20. Need volunteers. We have some volunteers coming with fence panels. We need people who are able to hold a fence panel & help corral dog. Please message us and let us know if you can meet at the corner of 141 & 152 near Jennings at 12 noon. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! THIS DOG HAS HAD THIS JUG ON HIS HEAD FOR AT LEAST 8 DAYS NOW!!! THIS IS URGENT!!!

Friday night, 6/12/20. We set up a trap, bbq scraps & waited in the rain. We had two people driving around telling us where they saw the dog. County dispatch even reached out to us. At 10:45 we called it a night. He was spotted several times but we are unsure of where he bedded down. Tomorrow is a new day. We may have help coming from surrounding areas. Please pray this dog is rescued tomorrow 🙏🙏🙏

Today is Friday, 6/12/20. The dog is still roaming around with the plastic jug stuck on his head. We hadnsome great people come out yesterday evening to help us. Marie & I are back at it again this morning. She has to go to work so if anyone can come help, that would be great. Send prayers

This dog was seen this morning 6/11/20. We have stopped searching. We are going back out at 545-6pm tonight. If you would like to help, please meet us at 141 & 152. This dog is going to die if we don't find it soon.

🐾❤️🐾 PROUD RESCUE PARTNER POST 🐾❤️🐾

This is Stacy aka Louise. I want to give the biggest shout out to my rescue partner Marie aka Thelma. She became the ACO over 6 weeks ago. I am so proud of the job she is doing. She has put in very long hours on a dialy basis, worked without days off & sacrificed time with family & friends. Those fur babies are so lucky to have someone in the shelter who absolutely loves them & wants them to all find furever homes. She is very passionate about animals, especially dogs & in just 6 short weeks, Thelma has moved about 90 dogs into reputable rescues, had some dirt delivered, had fence put up in the back for small dogs to run, deep cleaned, organized supplies, made a valuable connection with Chewy for donated dog & cat food & she is spending quality time with each dog. She even rides the dogs around on the golf cart so that maybe they forget they are in the shelter. Even if only for a few minutes. When I say those fur babies are lucky to have Thelma, I mean it with all my heart.
