I changed my mind again - for those paying attention yesterday afternoon. I was thinking I wouldn't breed Gus, though he's perfect. PRA clear and great personality, gorgeous coat. I was thinking he would be too big, tho, when he's done growing. After talking to my mentor out in Washington state who has been breeding much longer than me, I decided to keep him in my program. He's five and a half months old, so he's almost done growing. For my girls coming up who haven't bred yet, just to be safe, I'm going to find a smaller stud for their first time, then I'll use Gus after that. Gus loves life on the farm. He, Minnie and Sage are best of friends who love to bark at the cows. I'm glad he's staying.
