If your first message to me starts with "Will you do a discount if I buy 2, Any cheaper for 5?"
Please know, I'll probably ignore you.
I do not understand why small farms or small businesses are valued less than corporations when the product is usually better.
I don't understand why people have no issues supporting corporations, can pay for Starbucks happily, pay for their vacation happily, brag on Facebook about a fancy restaurant they ate at, or a new car , but when it comes to supporting a small farm or a small business they want a discount.
When asking for a discount , Please include what's in it for me ... I'm all ears, because right now I am staying sold out on the eggs/chicks/ducklings you just asked for a discount on. Some breeders have varieties you can't get just anywhere.
Or are you just trying to get something cheaper because YOU value MY work less than a Value meal from McDonald's or a Starbucks coffee ?
To all farmers, breeders, small business owners out there, don't let anyone put a value on your work.
Your work pays your bills....
People complain there are no small businesses left.
