For everyone else, today was just another Wednesday, but for us here at Shoreline.. it was our very own Emma’s birthday! We spoiled her with cake, coffee, cookies, puppies, kittens, and only one pile 💩 🫢 that’s what happens when you work in your birthday!! Emma has been a dedicated employee of Shoreline for over 4 years, since before our ownership change! Happy Birthday Emma!

We are all geared up for our vaccine clinic Sunday! Please message us here with any questions you may have as our phones are off during non business hours. We will have parking available behind the building and clients checking in at the front door. If you have been to our office please check off on the sheet that we have seen you prior (even if we have not seen all pets) so we are not adding more than one account for you. We are offering full vaccination services as well as dispensing prevention. Please have all animals on their leash or in a carrier for their safety. We look forward to seeing some new faces as well and any and all previous clients needing services!

Officially scheduled our next low cost vaccine clinic! 💉 🐕 🐈 💊
We will be dispensing flea, tick and heartworm prevention as well, your pet will either need a heartworm test or have proof of one performed within a year to purchase heartworm prevention.
Please also bring proof of prior rabies vaccine to qualify for a 3 year vaccine. (Not required for a one year)

Let’s talk the 4th of July! NOW is the time to get your pet in for calming medications, if you need them. If your pet has been seen within the year, we can fill sedatives at anytime to pick up. If we have not seen your pet before, we will have to establish care to script out any medication.

The health and safety of our patients is always our priority and we wanted to be sure to bring a concern to the attention of our clients or anyone else who may be shopping for prevention or medication online. Even the most popular online pharmacy used has proven that the legitimacy of products purchased cannot be confirmed. Very recently we had a client come in with their pet for her annual exam and vaccines. Being a good pet owner she had been ordering prevention online delivered to her house and giving every month as prescribed. Her dog ended up testing positive for heartworms. Most of the prevention used has a 100% satisfaction guarantee we just have to report the lot number or serial number with expiration date. This online pharmacy could not give any of this information to us. So it could not be proven for a satisfaction guarantee. Not only frustrating for her, but concerning to not know what she may have actually been giving if it was truly a counterfeit product.
We have seen medication fail before, but if a pet gets their medication routinely as they need it, these companies will cover treatment costs 100% including full panel blood work, radiographs and additional testing that may be recommended. This nice long story just to stress being sure where your hard earned money being spent is not a knock off or counterfeit product. We have been seeing more pets with faulty medications in their system, pets will not get the treatment they need or get the preventative treatment they need to keep a problem from arisings. We have links to our online stores that are directly sent from the manufacturer, and 100% guaranteed through the manufacturer of the company you are ordering from.
A pet having heartworms is not only an expensive treatment but is fatal if left untreated, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office with any questions or concerns you may have. This unfortunately is not a new issue, but seems to be a vastly growing issue.

We are always smitten to help deliver babies! This little boy was enjoying the extra space in the womb after all his siblings left, refusing to accept his eviction notice by mom!
With that being said, we wanted to thank anyone that came in yesterday afternoon, two different momma and baby emergencies were in at the same time leaving Dr Slaters hands very full of puppy time! Every client was very understanding and kind. We appreciated the support received. This job has some really great high points (like this little sausage born with us) and some really low lows. So your support and kindness towards our staff means a lot and is very much noticed by everyone in our building.
