As I’m beginning to receive requests for boarding over Christmas & New Years, I feel it is time to make it known to all my lovely pet owners…

I’m having a baby!
In December.
Christmas time, to be specific. 🎄😬

Big man upstairs must think he’s pretty funny… 😉😆

That being said, Play & Stay will have to adjust for a few weeks. From mid December 2025 through mid February 2026, I will be scaling back boarding just a bit & will be putting a complete pause on home visits. I've got a wonderful supporting cast (and possibly a new face or two) willing to lend help and I plan to remain open, but with a limited capacity while I recover and care for a newborn.

I know this may cause a disruption or inconvenience, but with any unexpected event the timing is out of my control. I'm grateful for the business you've all helped me build, and I’d be happy to recommend a reputable boarding kennel during this time in hopes that you’ll return to me once I’m back to operating at full capacity.

🐾 Roommate prices are going DOWN 😎 I figure, no need to price gouge for having more love to share! All roommates are now $25 per roommate per night (previously $10, $20 & $30 off) with the 1st house guest remaining at $50 per night. (Up to 4 dogs per kennel, depending on size & comfort)

🐾 Punchcards 😁🥳 While I already offer 1 free night after 5 nights for my extended-stay pups, I’ll now be offering that to EVERYONE! Even for the short stays, bring your punch cards along with your pups & we’ll see that they get a free night every so often. 💕 All punchcard holders will be put into a drawing every 6 months for a chance to win a Play & Stay goodie bag! (Does not apply to Daycare)

Before another busy day slips away from me… Happiest of Birthdays to Laura! 🎈🎈

In case you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting her, Laura is the other face behind Play & Stay and it wouldn’t be what it is today without her. Nearly every bedtime outing, and literally every pinch I’ve ever been in- she’s there. Like today, for instance, it’s her BIRTHDAY and she held down the kennel so I could get my youngest to her dance pictures. She is the most selfless person I’ve ever met & we’re so lucky to have her! 🎉 🐾♥️

Might come as a surprise, but I do have a tiny glimpse of a life outside of work & home! 😁 Every Tuesday night I get to throw a small dash of fun into my crazy busy schedule, and with that comes a year-end tournament! 🎱

That being said, Play & Stay Pet Resort will be closed April 10-13. During that time, my phone will be turned off & I’ll return calls/messages in the order received when I return! 🥰

As always, I’m feeling the need to thank all of you who trust me to care for your 4-legged family. Because of all of you, I get to have the job of my dreams that provides for my girls and me, build what will soon be Play & Stay Phase 2, and still find time to have a little fun.

Thank you will never be enough. ♥️
