Ladies… apparently we like to TALK.
Talk, talk, talk, talk, TALK! 😂
And you know what?
Maybe that’s not such a bad thing.

Maybe a good girlfriend conversation is one of life’s cheapest forms of therapy.
No appointment.
No waiting room.
Just grab your bike, your water bottle, a good friend and GO! 🚲

Pedal a little.
Talk a little.
Laugh a LOT.

Solve absolutely nothing…
then somehow come home feeling like you solved EVERYTHING. 😂

Because women need women.
We need friendships where we can say,
“Okay… am I crazy, or did that really just happen?”
And your friend says,

“Oh honey… keep pedaling. I’ve got a story for YOU!” 😂

We need places where we feel safe.
Where we aren’t judged.
Where we can laugh at ourselves, share our stories, cry if we need to, and remind each other:

You’re doing better than you think.
There is something wonderful about moving your body, being outside, connecting with nature and having someone beside you who simply listens.
Maybe that’s a little dopamine.
Maybe it’s friendship.
Maybe it’s laughter.
Maybe it’s the wind blowing through our bike helmets while two women are talking so much we forget we just rode ten miles! 😂

Whatever it is…
KEEP TALKING.
KEEP RIDING.
KEEP CONNECTING.
KEEP LAUGHING.

Our stories matter.
And sometimes someone else’s story is exactly the inspiration we needed that day.
So to all the wonderful women who have ridden beside me, walked beside me, laughed with me, listened to me and shared your stories with me…

Thank you.
Thank you.
THANK YOU! ❤️

Now… who wants to go for a bike ride?WAHOOO
I’ve got a few things to talk about. 😂🚲💨

For All the Mothers…
Sometimes I look back at raising my children and wonder…
Was it all a beautiful dream?
The babies in my arms, little hands in mine, bedtime stories, school mornings, birthdays, Christmases, laughter around the table—and even those crazy days I thought would never end.
And then somehow… they did.
Our children grew up.
They created lives of their own.
And now some of those babies are holding babies of their own.🐥
It is everything we hoped for them.
And yet, Mommas, letting go can be so tender.
Perhaps this season is asking something new of us.
To find our footing again.
To remember who we are beyond motherhood.
To discover new friendships, new adventures, new passions and a little magic of our own.
We don’t stop being mothers when our children grow up.
We simply learn to love them with a little more space between our arms.
So go, my beautiful children and grandchildren…

Grow. Explore. Love. Create your lives.

And to all of us mothers getting a little older…
Maybe it’s time we tell ourselves the very same thing.
GO, LIVE MAMMA!
There is still magic waiting for you. ✨
The story isn’t over.
We’re simply turning the page. ❤️

Breathe In, Breathe Out… and Carry On! 😂🧘‍♀️

For 7 whole years
I’ve breathed in deep,
breathed out slow,
twisted, stretched, chanted
and tried to let things go.
I’ve worked my Kundalini,
my breath, my soul, my spine…
and some days found enlightenment…
other days I just wondered,
“Is it lunchtime?” 😂
Now my beautiful teacher
is moving on her way,
and although it makes me sad,
I know nothing is meant to stay.
Because endings have a funny way
of opening another door…
new people, new adventures,
new lessons to explore.
Change can feel uncomfortable,
transformation can feel strange…
but apparently the Universe
didn’t ask permission
before deciding we should change! 😂
So on this beautiful Saturday,
breathe deeply into your belly,
stretch toward the heavens,
and then go eat something yummy.
Hug the person beside you.
Kiss someone you love.
Laugh at yourself.
Look at the sky above.
Be grateful for the teachers
who walked beside you for a while,
for every breath, every lesson,
every tear and every smile.
And when life changes direction
and you’re not quite sure what to do…
Inhale courage.
Exhale worry.
And if that doesn’t work…
have dessert. 😂

Happy Saturday!
May we honor the endings,
welcome the beginnings,
and keep breathing our way
through this wonderfully crazy,
beautiful adventure called life. 💚🙏

Me: Nature and cornfields are some of my favorite peeps. 🌽🌿
Cornfield: We know. You talk to us more than most people.
Me: Well, you’re excellent listeners. And you never interrupt.
Cornfield: We’re all ears. 🌽😂

Me: Ohhhh, good one! People have told me I have my head in the clouds.
Clouds: Excuse us—we happen to enjoy having you up here. ☁️
Me: Thank you! Besides, from up in the clouds, I think I get a clearer perspective on life.
Clouds: Or maybe the air is getting a little thin up here…
Me: That could explain why I laugh at my own jokes!

Bike Seat: Speaking of getting older…could we discuss the situation down here?
Me: YES! I’m almost 70. I’ve earned a little extra padding on these long bike rides! 🚲
Bike Seat: Finally! Some wisdom I can get behind.

Me: 😂 AnyWhoooo…
To all my fellow Wise-Agers out there:
Stay cool.
Stay curious.
Be childlike enough to use your imagination.
Talk to the cornfields.
Keep your head in the clouds once in a while.
Laugh at your own jokes.
And for heaven’s sake—buy the padded bike seat!
Stay young at heart, my friends…
and report back to me! 🌽☁️🚲💜WAHOOO
