For so many of us, seeing Punch each day became a little source of happiness. A tiny face appearing on the screen, a curious look, a playful moment, a sleepy cuddle, or simply Punch sitting close to the people he trusts could instantly make an ordinary day feel a little brighter. 🐒💕

It’s only Day 2, but somehow it already feels like we’ve been away from our sweet Punch for so long. 🥹❤️

But while we’re missing Punch, we can remind ourselves that this temporary closure is for something important. Monkey Mountain is closed for renovations from **September 1–18, 2026**, and hopefully these improvements will create an even safer, more comfortable, and better environment for Punch and the macaque troop. 🏡🐒❤️

The woman grabbed the broom she used for everyday chores, stepped between the predator and the trembling deer, and held it like a shield. Her voice may have been shaking, but her courage was stronger. ❤️
