I did not want to make this post but as most of you know, I recently made the tough decision to take a big step back from breeding, so I have been selling off parts of my collection. Miguel Hernandez on reached out to me on May 1 inquiring about a gecko. The entire transaction went smoothly with no issues.
However, on May 9, I received a chargeback notification from PayPal. No reason was provided other than him claiming he did not authorize the transaction. I immediately reached out to ask if anything was wrong, but I have yet to receive a response from him.
I’ve submitted screenshots, message logs, and proof of FedEx pickup, but PayPal still blocked my account and has deducted $2500 from my account.
Absolutely disgusted by this behavior, I would not have sold my breeders unless I had to, Baklava was definitely one of my favorite geckos, not knowing what kind of person she’s currently in possession of is devastating to me. I’ve sent messages to this person asking if I could get her back if he wasn’t satisfied with her, but no response at all. To be taken advantage of especially when I’m on the edge of leaving the hobby just makes me want to quit entirely.
If anyone has experience dealing with cases like this, please feel free to share any advice. Also, please be cautious when doing business with him.

This is a bittersweet post to make but as some of you may have noticed this page has been quite inactive in the past months. I’m going through some drastic life changes and things are soon going to look really different moving forward.
In the next couple months I’ll be parting with about 80-90% of my collection, only keeping my Dalmatians and a very few selected side projects. If you ever had your eyes on any of my geckos please send me a message. I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have. Discounts will be available for multiples as I would love to see them going to the same home.
I don’t think I could ever leave this hobby fully, but I will be beginning a new chapter in life so I would like to keep the colony to the smallest possible. THANK YOU as always for your continuous support!! Please reach out with any questions.

She’s a full sibling to Quoll! I had her listed for a bit until her ink spots started feathering out like crazy, she’s at about 30g so I would imagine her spots to get even bigger overtime. Sometimes it’s good if they didn’t sell immediately, I’d be punching myself by now if she slipped away lol. SO excited to add her to the future breeding lineup!
