🌟 Chex – The Kind Everyone’s Looking For! 🌟
Say hello to Chex, a gorgeous 14.3HH, 4-year-old gelding with a calm mind, thick build, and the kind of quiet confidence that makes him a barn favorite. If you’re looking for a safe, sane, and stunning gelding with the whole package — look no further!
This guy has a heart that matches his coat, golden. With his calm demeanor, gentle spirit, and good mind, Chex is safe for the whole family to be around. Are you kids with you in the barn or do they help chore out in the pasture? Not a problem. Chex’s ground manners are excellent. He is respectful, mindful, and patient. He also stands tied, is relaxed during tacking, bathing and grooming, and is great in a stall. He quite enjoys the pampered life!
Although Chex is only 4 years old, he is broke to ride the very best! In the arena, this guy’s movements are smooth and correct! Do you want him to stay collected and slow? Sure, he can do that! How about rollbacks? Not a problem! Chex keeps his head low and steady to the ground. Perhaps you’re interested in a reining career, Chex keeps his back leg planted and pivots giving you the slower version of a “hole in the ground.” If you give him more of your seat, he will rely on his hind end to give you that sought after reining stop.
Chex knows all of the tricks! He can lay down both from the ground or under saddle, he will side pass both directions… you can even ride him BRIDLELESS!!
But let's say you’re not interested in doing much arena work, that’s okay! Chex has had countless trail miles, been hauled to a few state parks and is no stranger to creeks, hills, large rocks, rough terrain, and everything in between. Chex does in fact “Mind the Gap” as he takes logs, or really any obstacle, confidently and calmly. He does not spook at the wilderness animals, or show any signs of hesitancy when given directions. Whenever you’re ready to head home, Chex will walk up into the trailer slowly, expecting the yummy snack that waits for him in the hay bag.
